Sami faces Roman for the title tonight and this feels more special than any B-show in ages. The Rumble ending was a classic and this whole angle has done wonders for WWE and the HHH-era. Womens chamber starts off and Liv vs. Nattie is up first and Liv dominates for a bit. Corner charge to both by Raquel. Everyone gets their faces put into the chainlink to kill time or whatever.
Raquel spears Nikki into the pod and ends her run. Codebreaker off the second rope from Liv. Liv sunset bombs her and Carmella steals a pin for 2. Asuka and Carmella take out Raquel and Carmella tries to steal a pin on Asuka and fails. Asuka is going to slay her and face Bianca! Shoulderlock is on and ends it. Asuka was booked like an absolute killer here before she was in it too. Tremendous! The right person won in an okay-ish match that was booked to get her over in the end.
Lashley vs. Brock is up starts off with two spears and Brock avoids the full nelson. F5 COUNTER! Brock vs. Lashley in the traditional "start with all finishers stored" match. Third spear and Lashley goes for a titty twister...or a Hurt Lock and it's on! Brock mule kicks his balls FOR A DQ!? DAFUQ!? Really now? A DQ IN A BROCK LESNAR MATCH!? He F5s the ref and Lashley. Then another F5 through the announce table to Lashley and one to the ref on the floor.
THE GRIT COUPLE vs. The Judgment Day in a battle of WWE branding is up. Beth's got Bull Nakano-style paint on and we get a poetry in motion in the corner with Beth. BIG MAN CLUBBERING here! Tons of back and forth lariats and forearms! Massive "fuck you, Dominik" chant and then he's ejected, comes out and gets another FUCK YOU DOMINIK chant. Riptide countered into a corner charge.
Huge superplex from Beth to Mami! Double Edgucator and knucks get 2.9 when Beth misses the call and Beth doesn't run in for the heels. Double stomp is nixed by Dom getting tossed into the ropes by Beth. Women corner powerbomb the men out of the corner. Glam slam on the floor and the Edgecution hits Balor! SUICIDE DIVE TO DOM! Spear by Edge and the SHATTER MACHINE ENDS IT!? Shatter Machine ends it - which makes sense if in-canon, you know that the guys Edge sent to save Beth from his last home invasion angle were FTR. Roman C4 ad evokes "I ALMOST SWALLOWED SOME OF THE JUICE"!
US Title chamber is up. Montez Ford is out looking like A STAR! Seth and Johnny do next to nothing until Theory comes in and sends Seth into the ring with a lariat. Johnny and Seth beat up Theory in the pod. EVERYONE SPAM SIGNATURE MOVES! Superplex>falcon arrow combo gets 2 on Priest for Seth. Double Samoan drop to Seth and Theory by Bronson gets 2.
Bronson and Tez go at it and Tez hits a big enzuiguri! Tez wants a people's elbow, but Bronson stops it. A-Town Down countered by Reed into a rainmaker powerslam! Big double Impact leads to Reed eating a poison rana on BRONSON, who gets knocked down for a 2.9. Tez dives off the chamber and then everyone superkicks and hits their finish on Reed before a Tez frog splash ends Bronson's time in the chamber.
The fans sing Seth's theme as he and Johnny are on the pod and then Seth chops him. Seth sets up a powerbomb off the top, but EATS A RANA TO THE CATWALK! Johnny superkicks dudes and hits a slingshot DDT to AT on the floor! Razor's edge to Johnny ends it for him. Tez and Seth do some cool shit for a bit. TEZ HITS THE ROCK BOTTOM! Frog splash and the knees up and the stomp takes out Tez!
It's down to Seth and AT! You could have either guy win and be fine - Cena vs. Theory doesn't need the title - but is aided by Cena going for the title that started it all for him. Seth vs. Logan Paul puts that title on a mainstream pedestal as well. They bring folks out to carry Tez out to sell the stomp and help protect him in defeat. Logan Paul comes in and BUCKSHOTS SETH! HE STOMPS HIM! A-Town Down finish and he's the least-noteworthy thing about his own title match.
Spear is avoided and a corner exploder! SUPERMAN PUNCH BY SAMI AND THE HELLUVA KICK GETS 2.9! TORPEDO DDT RETURNS...Or not. Time keeper spear leads to Roman taking a header. BLUE THUNDER BOMB GETS 2.9! Ref bump and another helluva kick hits for a visual pin. Jimmy runs down and superkicks him to death and hits an Uso splash for 2.9!
SPEAR HITS FOR 2.9999! Roman tells Sami that he elevated him and THIS IS HOW HE REPAYS HIM! SUPERMAN PUNCH TO THE REF AND SAMI HITS ONE ON ROMAN AND ROMAN HITS ONE ON HIM! DOUBLE-DOWN! Heyman gets Roman and chair and JEY USO STANDS MID-RING! Roman gives Jey the chair to take Sami out to prove his loyalty. Accidental spear from Sami to Jey and Roman chairshots Sami a ton!
MONSTER spear and the ref is down, but gets up and...that's it. Wow. Owens is out and takes out Jimmy and Roman! Heyman CLUBS KO like Captain Lou and HE STUNNERS HEYMAN! HELLUVA KICK TO ROMAN! Sami leaves with his head held high
