AEW Collision 7-2-26

 

It's a rare Thursday show and it's apparently 2 and a half hours because sure why not. Pac and Claudio face off with Shingo and DRILLA! Drilla and Claudio are fantastic together and Drilla would fit right into AEW nicely. Claudio and Shingo go at it with forearms. RUNNING UPPERCUT OF DEATH and a flash cradle from Claudio wins it! Conglomeration chats with Lexy. Takeshita challenges Fletcher for Wednesday.

Cage vs. Andrade is up and Cage is MASSIVE! DOUBLE JUMP TORNILLO BY ANDRADE! Double roll moonsault hits for Andrade! Amigos hit for Andrade! 619 by Cage and a Liger bomb gets 2. FROG SPLASH GETS 2.9 FOR ANDRADE! DM wins it! Mina and Rosa face Becca and Zara - really fun stuff here with a lot of in and out tag action and Rosa wins with the cradle sideslam after lots of fun wackiness from Mina. Thekla talks about ALL IN and everyone wants her BUT LOAD YOUR GUNS CUZ SHE'S GONNA GRAB THE BULLET WITH HER TEETH! Weird Sky Flight bit with Sydal. 

Jay White, the Gunns, and Cope are out to face STP. Outstanding babyface fire from the Gunns and WHITE GETS A BUNCH OF DRAGON SCREWS! CORNER UPPERCUT BY JAY! tower of doom superplex to Shane! Spear and the blade runner end it! Dogs and Riders attack and The Demand kill dudes in a squash that winds up as a bloodbath. TRIPLE IMPACT SPIRIT GUN WINS IT. This ruled! Ricochet mocks SkyFlight which...is fair.  

Rina vs. Athena is up and Rina loves the shotgun dropkick. O face and the Koji clutch wins it. Fletcher says he'll face ELP tonight - 10 years after doing it before. Rascalz vs. Speedball, Bandido, and Mistico is up in an insane WAR trios. Really shockingly fast match with the 21 Plex winning it - odd to not give this more time. RUSH kills a dude. Julia Hart vs. Maya World is up to rebuild her a bit and boy Julia is a slow tiny wrestler - weird mix. Bridging fallaway gets 2.5 for Maya! Moonsault gets feet in the face from Maya and the rough ryder wins it for Maya.  Fletcher vs. ELP is up and he gets a running Brodie boot before a weird cut and he's wiping his mouth - so this must be where he puked. 

Crazy out of control bump to the floor from Kyle and then ELP takes a crazy half and half bump ON THE FLOOR. Wacky Ligerbomb from Kyle! Lawndart and the brainbuster win it. Don says that Takeshita was his chosen one and on Wednesday, it's time to teach him a lesson! 

AEW Dynamite 7-1-26 - TBS Title Survival of the Fittest

 

Survival of the Fittest is on tap and we start with post-FD stuff and Mox gives Will a Death Riders patch and Omega chats him up and then MJF interrupts and Omega tells him he'll be facing him soon if he gets through Mark. Biting back and forth and up op, Mark throws him off and gets 2 off a froggy bow. Froggy bow to the floor table! Strike combo hits for MJF with a discus elbow but a big lariat hits for Mark! jay driller hits for 2.9! Heatseeker wins it. MJF attacks with the ring but Omega saves from a second shot and gets a title shot IF HE WON'T CHALLENGE AGAIN. 

MJF says he's the best and Ospreay tells him he'll break his neck sucking himself off like that. Knight vs. Lio Rush is up and Rush gallops around and bites before Lio lands his lightning-quick enzuiguris and forearms. Doyle distracts and Knight gets a springboard lariat. Pop-up sky high for Knight AND THE CRASH LANDING URANAGE WINS IT! Darby wants a TNT Title match or he'll keep attacking him with explosives. 

Jericho jumps Ciampa and they brawl by the ring trucks and Ciampa GETS A DRILL and gets blocked. The Elite chat and Kenny wants the stip for next week and Mox and Ospreay face the Swirl and get a nice win before Jay White is back with his boys. Jay asks WHO THE THA DOGS OUT!? BBG vs. STP is up for Collision and now it's TBS Title time. Harley is out after a border toss by Persephone. Angle slam by Kris! Persephone hits a basement dropkick for 2. Kris gets 2.9 on Persephone after a ki crusher. Kris gets a cradle reversal and takes out Persephone! Perseph KOs Kris with the belt and Shida gets her wacky submission and Kris is out!

Omega announcement is up and he'll face him next week for the gold! Max jumps him but Kenny grounds him and slugs away!
