AEW Revolution 2026 - 3-15-26 - Hangman vs. MJF for the Title

 

It's a loaded card and a really loaded-up Zero Hour with two titles matches as the TBS Title is on the line with Willow against Lena Kross and the National Title battle royal. I expect Willow to win this one and then lose the tag titles later and for Jack Perry to win the National. A pretty epic video airs and MyAEW looks gorgeous! Social Media Italian Influencers are starting things off and we hear from WAYNE BRADY IN 2026!? AJ Boom hits a clothesline and a powerslam! Wayne Brady gets involved and Boom and Doom win it. Mox-Takeshita hype video! 

Kross vs. Willow is out with the champ coming out last. Kross tackles her down and gets an electric chair facebuster on the buckle for 2. Willow gets a spinebuster for 2.5! OVERHAND CHOPSAPLENTY! CANNONBALL MISSES FOR WILLOW! Willow pounce meets a superkick! JACKHAMMER no a backslide wins it for Willow! Bayne attacks and Harley saves with a pipe! Marina vs. Toni with Marina dominating before a mother's milk meets A HIP ATTACK AND STORM ZERO! Toni wins the battle but RONDA ROUSEY IS HERE TO HELP MARINA WHOOP ASS! This segues into Mox vs. Takeshita! 

Mox clips a knee! BACK AND FORTH FOREARMS! BLUE THUNDER GETS 2! Mox gets 2 off a piledriver! TAKE BLEEDS! RAGING FIRE! 2.999! Driving knee BUT THE KNEE GIVES OUT AND THE SHEER DROP DEATHRIDER GETS 2.9! AVALANCHE DEATH RIDER HITS FOR 2.999 AND MOX WANTS AN RNC! AND HE GETS IT AND WINS!? Wow okay.

ALSO NOW HERE'S WILL OSPREAY BACK! HOLY SHIT WHAT IN THE FUCK. HE RUNS WILD WITH HIDDEN BLADES AND A CORKSCREW MOONSAULT! Willow is hurt but HARLEY IS SICK OF THEIR SHIT and okay so that's their out. Okay so Ospreay is like seemingly fine and seemingly also going for the Continental at either the next PPV or ALL IN. 

Kinda still floored by Ospreay, so this is the perfect follow-up because you can have this be cold and it's okay - it's all about having Willow lose due to the injury and making Bayne and Kross look strong in a video package later. Swerve vs. Brody King is up and Ex asks Bryan about how you battle Swerve. Forearms aplenty and SWERVE LAWNDARTS BRODY INTO THE POST! Brody chops the daylights out of him on the floor! Thekla is out with HER energy and it's 2/3 falls so they should go to a third with Thekla winning the first to keep her strong. Thekla gets a quick cradle for 2 and gets the first fall with a BACKLUND BRIDGE WITH THE ROPE! Stat suplexes her on the floor before they fight up for a spider superplex and THEKLA HITS IT! STAT GIANT SWINGS HER A BUNCH INTO THE BARRICADES! AND SLINGSHOTS HER INTO THE STEPS! Ki Krusher gets 2 for Kris! OCTOPUS BY THEKLA TURNED INTO THE FEVER FOR THE SECOND FALL! Ref is out and Thekla grabs his belt and KRIS GETS THE BELT! FEVER HITS AGAIN BUT NO REF! Kris beats up the Sisters! SPEAR AND TWO CURB STOMPS WIN IT!

Trios title time! All the faces are out to Mistico's theme and have gear on inspired by him. Wow what an icon! Mistico and Okada start and the DCF unmasks Mistico's partners! Mistico destroyers Fletcher! Bailey SSP hits and Knight hits Fletcher after a near belt shot! ULTIMA WEAPON BUT DAVIS SHOVES KNIGHT ONTO THEM FOR 2.9! DAVIS HITS THE DUNKZILLA DRIVER! Hook kick by Bailey on Davis! LA MISTICA AND THE UFO SPLASH WINS IT! Five billion stars! AND MISTICO IS ALL ELITE! Goddamn every second of this was special.

Bandido and Andrade go at it and Andrade nails him with a kneeling powerbomb before showing off how well his concoctions are working. Andrade eats a German into the buckle! SSP BY BANDIDO GETS 2! SHOTGUN KNEES IN THE CORNER GET 2 FOR ANDRADE! DM turned into a cradle for 2! Avalanche fallaway moonsault gets 2.5 before Bandido turns it into a stretch muffler! Torture rack GTS GETS 2.5! The Dogs vs. OC, Roddy and Darby is up in a tornado match. Finlay hits a suplex toss to OC and an IRISH CURSE TO RODDY! DOMINATOR BY FINLAY! Darby zipties Gabe on the ramp and the End of Heartache and the Orange Punch win it! AND NOW IT'S TIME FOR TEXAS DEATH! Hanger gets a Mexican brass band intro! Excalibur ties this match into the history of the first AEW match ever with DoN's battle royal closing with MJF and Hangman with Hanger winning. 

MJF is out in Terry Funk gear and has the Dapper Yapper say that he isn't from a piece of shit town like LA. STAPLES TO MJF AND HE JUST RIPS IT OFF HIS CHEST TOO! PAPERCUTS! Hanger brings in A FUCKING WINDOW! Max breaks it and GETS SLAMMED ON IT AND THEN DRAGGED THROUGH IT!  

MJF gets a broom and sweeps the glass out to a "sweep forever" chant before Hanger grabs the broom and snaps it and then jabs him with the jagged edge! Max gets a fucking syringe and jabs it through his cheek AND PUSHES WATER THROUGH IT! DEADEYE ON A BARB WIRE CHAIR! CHAIR TOSS BY MJF! DEADEYE OFF THE APRON THROUGH A TABLE GETS A DOUBLE DOWN! APRON TOMBSTONE TO HANGER! POP POWERBOMB TO MJF! LIGHT TUBE TO THE BACK AND ANOTHER TO THE HEAD OF MJF! Lordy!

THEY FIGHT OVER SKEWERS WITH A TOP WRISTLOCK! SKEWERS AND HE BUCKSHOTS THEM OUT OF HIS HEAD! HE GETS 9 AND HE'S GOT A CHAIN LIKE ALL IN TEXAS! AND IT'S A DOG COLLAR CHAIN! They manage to reference Punk at Revolution without saying his name. The fans want fire but no one has a lighter. They fight over an apron piledriver and MJF uses the dog collar for a snapmare THROUGH THE BARB WIRE BOARD FOR 9!

BELLY TO BELLY OFF THE RAMP THRUOGH RANDOM SHIT FOR 9.9! Hanger LITERALLY DOG-WALKS HIM TO THE RING and gets a "he's a good boy" chant. LOW BLOW BY MAX! 

BELT SHOT HITS FOR 8! HANGER NIPS UP AND BALLSHOTS HIM! MJF HITS HIM WITH THE RING AND HANGS HIM WITH THE COLLAR! AND IT'S OVER! WOW! MJF survived this one.
