Joe Tess narration over the 946 ROAMING AROUND CORRIDORS! Sami is out on Raw to hype the Crown Jewel Title match. Roman is out and hugs Sami before Sami is a cocky asshole and Penta is out for an MK 3 versus screen pose with Roman before facing Breakker. Press turned into a DDT by Penta before a Penta driver gets 2.5. Vision is out and a mid-air Destroyer is met with a mid-air spear for 2.5. JeVon prevents Theory from using the case and he takes out Breakker with it and PENTA WINS WITH A DESTROYER!?
Chelsea and Iyo are out to face Roxy and Raquel and they do a bunch of not much until Liv gets involved BUT IT BACKFIRES and Iyo cradles Raquel to win. 946 lets everyone know no one's safe. Well duh. Tess says Bloodline isn't here. Okay wait so the Bloodline isn't here, 946 is, and they aren't attacking Roman THE WORLD CHAMPION why?
JD vs. Hendry is up and Hendry looks miserable. Great hype graphic for JD, who is getting more over with this while Hendry is getting under. Goofy comedy with the Funko guy and Dom and Hendry gets a baseball slide to Dom. Flying headram-style headbutt wins it for JD. Lyra does crazy shit backstage. Lola Vice vs. Lyra is next and they just do a lot of nothing until a wacky submission by Lyra.
Lyra eats a cool mid-air backfist for 2.5. Bayley distraction and MIA hits flush and wins it. Lyra asks what she has to do to end this and Bayley tells her - no DQ. Tess hypes up MICRO DRAMAS! Their thing is shot in portrait and landscape thankfully. Becky wants a title shot and counters Pearce's "no one's fighting" with Steph hurt with THAT'S YOUR JOB TO MAKE MATCHES! Well she's right.
Rey vs. Gable vs. Lee is up and MY GOD HOW IS REY SO GOOD!? He looked shot 16 years ago in WWE and he's better now. Rey does a crazy dive off the top to the floor! Double 619s and Rey gets 2.9 off a frog splash! Dragon Lee is taken out with a DDT and Gable beats Rey, who is pissed at losing. Page attacks Rey and Gable and Cass beats up Lee. A really distracting woman with MAGA face is behind the announcers and I'm sure she's a treat trying to return something.
Usos arrive with weapons and 946 surrounds the ring but Solo attacks Keys and Hayes. Keys calls out Roman, who saunters out to a "you fucked up" chant at Keys. Okay that's funny. Bloodline clears the ring and stands tall to set up War Games in November. They've built that up well - it's a shame it's WWE War Games and not JCP but oh well. IC Title scene would have been more interesting had Rey won, even if Gable winning is "better" in the sense of how many people are in the mix.
