AEW has lucked into something special with Brody King - but they've already got MJF in the mix with a slew of challenges running the gauntlet, so it makes sense to not have Brody win this one BUT they could also have him win and just put it back on MJF at Revolution and keep people on his tail. Mox starts the show off against Takeshita for the Continental Title! We've got Excalibur and Tony on the call. They start with a long tieup attempt and flash Paradigm being avoided - very '80s-style start.

TOPE BY MOX and he overshoots that a ton and escaped doom there before landing some chops on the floor for a break. Takeshita goes up and almost eats a superplex before RAKING MOX'S BACK and HITTING A WALKING LAST RIDE OUT OF THE CORNER! Forearms aplenty before Mox sends him out and Takeshita avoids a countout but eats a stomp and a rear naked choke attempt before turning the RNC into a cross armbar. SHOT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD GETS 2.9 AND THE TIME EXPIRES AFTER THE KICKOUT! THAT RULED! Raging fire after the match! He did what Okada couldn't do - go the distance with Mox as Okada lost at Worlds End. 

Fletcher recap video hyping him up. Babes of Wrath vs MegaBad is next BUT FIRST a Stat vs. Thekla video. Hanger avoids a sunset flip powerbomb and hits a pop-up powerbomb for 2.5. FALLAWAY SLAM INTO THE BARRICADE BY HANGER! Buckshot countered with the snapping spinning elbow for 2.9! DEADEYE HITS! BUCKSHOT HITS AND WINS IT WHEN DON'S INTERFERENCE BACKFIRES!

Mixed tornado time! Walk and brawl with Toni eating a Wheeler piledriver on the floor! Mina puts Orange in Jeff's new spinal attack before ORANGE FORCES DANCING and Toni returns for SUPLEX CITY! WACKY DANCING with Toni works until Marina grabs Toni and kicks OC! Stundog and wheelbarrow DDT hit for OC! Standing kneebar by Marina as the TCM chickenwing is on Wheeler and THE WOMEN JUST WANT TO THROWDOWN! BUSAIKU KNEE BY YUTA TO TONI GETS 2! ORANGE PUNCH AND STORM ZERO WIN IT! 

Mina appears ALONGSIDE LUTHER IN AN OLD TYME OUTFIT but Yuta storms out! Mox tells him to man up and we get a NEW MOX MEME and Luther being incredible before they just give him a Heyman cut and the ladder match is up. Mark comes out to work heel against them since it's Fletcher's hometown and it will be interesting to see that dynamic. 

HALF AND HALF ON THE FLOOR BY FLETCHER! Top rope-style slam off the ladder to the apron by Fletcher! MOONSAULT OFF THE LADDER ON THE FLOOR! LAWNDART INTO THE FUCKING LADDER gashes Mark up badly. Jesus. FROGGY BOW ON A LADDER BRIDGE! JAY DRILLER THROUGH A CORNER LADDER BRIDGE! BRAINBUSTER OFF THE LADDER TO MARK BRISCOE! God, they've managed to do the impossible - have a memorable ladder match in 2026! Mark gets necked on the top rope and FLETCHER WINS IT! 

It is main event time! FUCK ICE to start before MJF stalls and comes in to a FUCK HIM UP BRODY FUCK HIM UP chant. Brody KILLS HIM WITH CORNER CHOPS! Press slam out of the corner to MJF gets a SHIT! from MJF! Cannonball misses and Brody tweaks the leg and MJF works it over. MJF preps a KANGAROO KICK IN AUSTRALIA before getting a kneebar. BARRICADE CROSSBODY BY BRODY! "BRODY-BRODY KING!" song breaks out! Brody wants an RNC but MJF counters and gets one of his own. Tope attempt by Brody is met with a shot and draping DDT on the apron! MJF goes for the ring but Bandido saves and the APRON RNC IS ON! GANSO BOMB GETS 2.9!

Outstanding nearfall there and MJF works the knee by biting the bare knee on the apron. Dangling RNC attempt on the buckle is met with punches to the knee and a TOMBSTONE SLAM ON THE APRON BY MJF! Heatseaker gets the pin!? Wow! This was a hell of an ascension in defeat for Brody King - he came off like he could really win it here. MJF survived this one and Hanger came out for a staredown.
