We've seen clips on TV from this show, so it felt weird to not see it on the docket - and the ROH show is what I first noticed it being there and the word spread online. Orange Cassidy is out in a singles match against Yuta! Tony hypes up Ian as a college baseball player and Tony was the voice of the Braves and after Yuta comes out, they talk more baseball. HANDS IN THE POCKET break a full nelson as Ian says more folks who faced Ken Patera should have done that. The camera white balance is all wonky, so this should drive Bix nuts.
Ian and Tony update everyone on their book club and Tony talks about his rookie card arriving. Well, they're treating this as a night off as the wrestlers are. Lots of just stalling around doing so little that early '90s Jimmy Garvin would be like DO SOMETHING. OC gets crotched for "a pair of foul balls for Orange!" according to Ian. Orange punch wins it! The Opps and Action Andretti face off with Komander and Top Flight. Some cool shots with Komander!
They just have a fun party match. Doing not much of anything. Komander hits a rana to Bowens! Pele kick by Darius to Andretti before Komander comes in and triangle dropkicks Hook. Komander 450 gets 2 on Andretti. Superkicks set Bowens up for a BASES LOADED SERIES OF DROPKICKS in the corner. Stunner from Andretti. ROPEWALK DOUBLE JUMP MOONSAULT FROM KOMANDER here on this show. Dante wins it! That was basically perfect for what a match should be on this show.
Julia Hart vs. Hyan is up and Julia gets a big pop being from MN. Floor brawling before JULIA DOES A DOUBLE BICEPS POSE and gets 2 on a DDT. Hyan gets a sunset bomb for 2. Octopus is on and Hyan taps. Serpentico eats a chop and just falls like a tree. DO A TEST OF STRENGTH! Release German out of the corner shows off Cage's bald spot. Flashy kicks and A FLATLINER HIT FOR 1.9 FOR SERPENTICO! F10 BY CAGE! DEADLIFT SUPLEX FROM THE APRON and that's the win!? Okay sure why not.
Hurt Syndicate vs. STP is up and Bravo gets some nice heat with LA. Lee stalls and Ian brings up Larry and Lashley does a long delayed suplex. Taylor and Lashley brawl and three people attack Lashley and he registers like Da Crusher. Full Nelson is on but ST escapes. Lee hits a kick on the apron to Lashley and Taylor misses a splash and Lashley eats a crossbody. STINGER SPLASH BY SHELTON and then a snap suplex hits! Lee gets a clip and an ankle lock before getting one and then getting clubbed by ST. Bravo goes for a double chokeslam fails and they chuck him on STP. BAD MAN RUMBLE punch by ST hits Shelton and a Lee STO gets 2. Corner knee from Shelton to ST and the spear wins it.
Fun hour-ish of action. Nothing must-watch beyond MAYBE the Komander tag. OC comes in and Orange punches Bravo!
