It's a three hour show-ish with two-ish hours of Dynamite and an hour-ish of Collision and we start off with Demand versus the Swerve Level and Ricochet is ANNOYED BY THE NEW LEVEL BECAUSE THEY AREN'T A REAL TEAM! Creed runs through all of Swerve's bizarre history in AEW and Kofi asks if he had friends here before them and he can't answer before his theme hits and they come out. THE FANS DO NOT SHOW SOME LOVE FOR THE DEMAND! Ricochet gets a bird flip in during a cobra twist on Creed. Triple impact on the floor gets 2! A HOUSE CALL HITS TOA AND ALLOWS FOR THE SOS TO WIN! This was fun.
Hangman calls out Swerve and Swerve tells him than he's no better than he is. Ospreay asks Speedball to join the United Empire and he agrees. Thekla says that there's two bitches - a happy one and one that will stick their teeth in and THEKLA IS FOR THE CHILDREN AND Saturday, things get TOXIC! Mox vs. Dezmond Xavier is up in an eliminator and Mox stomps the arm and wins with an RNC. COPE chats with Darby and Steve! and Cope is annoyed at him reaching for LEGENDS like he and Cage, he is being targeted now and Darby is now climbing a new mountain.
Bucks are out and we get bickering and a brawl before Willow hypes up beating Thekla for the belt before and now she's more dangerous after having the gold. Ciampa and Doyle are out and Doyle eats a beating on the floor, but Doyle dominates during the break. Psycho Driller off the second and knee wins it and he bickers with Okada. Very strong "this show could have been an e-mail vibe" here. And Hyan vs. Perse isn't helping that. Britt with Perse works and Perse's theme is fantastic. Perse gets 2 off a victory roll and Britt is called a coach by Taz. Perse gets 2 off another rollup and Hyan avoids the splash mountain and Hyan gets a spear for 2 before Perse cheats to win with the ropes and the ref notices and it just didn't matter.
United Empire Bailey is here with Ospreay to face the Riders' Kidd and Claudio. I guess Kidd is just in this group now and the Dogs are a team. Gabe gets flipped off on the way to the ring in a glorious way. Ospreay has Tana-ish gear and gets a pair of Bret-ish suplexes and a handspring enzuiguri for 2. Stereo armbar attempts but Claudio hurks Bailey onto Ospreay and a darting uppercut! Styles clash to Claudio for the win. Ospreay talks shit and Mox just glares at him and comes in and says DO YOU FEEL LIKE THE CHAMPION!? Before Gabe eats shit and tells Mox YA DAMN FUCKIN' RIGHT I FEEL LIKE THE CHAMPION! That's a great go-home...and also hey here's an hour of Collision.
Collision starts off with Perry bitching about not getting Joe, but instead getting Shibata - who is still a killer. Divine-Birds talking segment and they eat and then brawl and okay they kept it short. Roddy bitch and now it's time for JetFletch vs. the Outrunners and the brainbuster>UFO wins it after way too long a match and a KYLE H TAPDANCING FLETCHER sign is up and Fletcher says they're a family now and SATURDAY IS GONNA BE A CAKEWALK. rut roh.
Borden and Darby are in the rafters and Darby points out that they aren't dumb enough to get jumped by the DCF. A sea of middle-aged men sing Jericho's theme before he comes out and banters with Nick Wayne about their parallels before Nick cuts a fantastic promo about needing to change and proving it at Grand Slam Paris and may THE MAN WHO KNOWS MORE WIN. Mercedes is out for commentary here at 10:49 and Skye Blue vs. Aminata is out in a strange match having seen their fantastic photoshoots together but this is...not good. Skye gets a terrible whip into a barricade before even worse forearms. A CHINLOCK AT 10:57 ARE YOU KIDDING ME! CRADLE CITY gets a ton of nearfalls. Skye slaps her and eats the queen's crown headbutt and off with her head facewash wins it.
Everyone brawls and Thekla saves and this show STILL HAS A MATCH IN IT with Pac vs. Ace and Britt and Perse face Rosa on Dynamite and Perse offers up an open challenge, but not to Maya, Hyan, or Rosa! Perse is such a good promo. Pac vs. Austin is up and Ace gets the deep squats DVD and Pac hits the black arrow and wins it before getting the Rings of Saturn and it's BRAWL OUT TIME!
