Elimination Chamber 2018

The women's chamber is hyped up as the opener. Alexa is out with darker roots and it's a great look. Mickie is out with outstanding red and gold booty shorts. Sonay and Bayley start things off before Mandy comes in for a War Games-esque 2 on 1. Sasha is in and she taps out Mandy with the Bank statement. Mickie takes out Sonya with a super Thesz press off the chamber pod. Bayley to Belly takes out Mickie. Alexa makes some great faces of fear in the pod. Bayley hits the suplex on Sasha, but Alexa cradles Bayley and beats her. Twisted Bliss off the top is met with knees. Sasha knees her a ton on the chamber, but Bliss hits the twisted bliss off the pod, but Bliss is in the bank statement. Alexa hits a top rope snap DDT to end it!

Alexa cuts a promo and then we see Ronda's dressing room door. The Bar battles Titus Worldwide and Apollo gets a lot of chances to shine before falling to the springboard uppercut/White Noise. An ad for the Andre doc airs. Nia destroys Asuka a lot before Asuka gets a cradle to win - and then eats a beating. Woken Matt-Bray video package airs before Matt comes out. Matt pins former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt with a twist of fate.

Kurt, Steph and HHH come out after a Ronda Rousey video package. Ronda is out to "Bad Reputation" - so they've made a deal for it. She walks out and cuts a promo about how excited she is to be out here. She cries about finally being in WWE and wanting to make Roddy Piper proud and earn the respect of the fans in the ring. She says she wants to earn a title shot and Steph talks about WM 31 and how she impressed them on that night. Kurt stirs the pot about how Steph called Ronda a has-been and we get RONDA'S MEAN FACE! Oh this is great - and it looks like it will be the Olympians in Kurt and Ronda against Steph and HHH at WM. Steph slaps her and gets a "you fucked up!' chant! Ronda gives her a death stare and signs the contract before throwing HHH through the table!

Elias sings and the men's chamber is up. Miz, Seth and Finn are in. Seth and Balor double-team Miz. Seth's new red and black gear is great and he hits a double blockbuster for 2. Cena is in and he eats a bunch of offense - including a stomp from Balor off the chamber. Roman comes in and slugs away. Braun goes after Miz and climbs atop the pod and smacks Miz into the chamber before throwing him into a crossbody position into the pile. Miz is pinned by the powerslam. Everyone gangs up on Braun for a Shield bomb! IT GETS 2! Cena AAs him for 2! A spear hits for 2! Seth's curb stomp hits! DOUBLE STOMP HITS HIM! Cena hits the AA to Roman, but Seth saves him. Elias hits a diving elbow on Seth for 2. Seth goes for the flying knee to Braun, but hits Roman.

Braun catches Cena and powerslams him out of the match. Braun eats the corner shotgun kick! Balor goes after Seth and the inverted 1916 gets 2. Roman eats the shotgun kick and Balor goes up top and hits the stomp! BRAUN POWERSLAMS HIM OUT! Seth and Roman beat up Braun and Seth hits a frog splash to Bruan off the top of the pod for 2! Braun turns the stomp into the powerslam and takes him out! Roman dives on Braun! Braun misses a charge and goes through the pod. Roman hits a bunch of Superman punches and spears to end it! Braun loses but leaves him laying with powerslams and a toss through a pod.

WWF Wrestlefest '90

Coliseum Video has hit the Network, and I have had this tape for over 20 years - so what the heck, let's step back in time for a bit. Savage faces Piper, Piper faces Martel, and Dino Bravo faces Warrior in the "fan favorite" match. The overdub music to cover up the original Coliseum stuff makes it impossible to hear Sean Mooney. Macho King comes out in gold with his giant crown. Savage stalls and Sherri looks up Piper's kilt. This leads to Piper kicking her shoe off and Savage hitting a big double axehandle to the back. Awesome start. Savage eats a lariat and goes to leave. They brawl a bit on the floor and Savage hits the neck snap and the knee to the back.

Sherri chops him on the floor and Savage boots him off the apron. Sherri kicks him and Savage drops a knee for 2. Piper lays him out with punches in the corner and flips him into a tree of woe. Sherri saves Savage and he begs off. Oh I love this match. SUPER-FAST AIRPLANE SPIN BY PIPER! Piper falls into a 2 and goes for a slam, but he falls into a 2 there. Savage gets an even faster airplane spin and motions to the top. He goes up and falls off - so the move is sold perfectly and right away, you get over that yeah, it can be effective in the right hands but dangerous in the wrong hands. Sherri jumps on Piper's back and it's a DQ or maybe a double countout. Savage is taken out by the sleeper and Sherri comes in. She eats a sleeper and Savage knees Piper, leading to Sherri's skirt flying up before Piper flogs Savage with his belt.

We get the "fan requested" match complete with a postcard of three possible mnatches. Jimmy Hart and Dino cut a promo on the kid and Warrior. Warrior WITH THE WWF TITLE talks about his kid is the only one who can command him as he destroys Dino. Dino comes down and this is announced as an IC Title match, with Earthquake in his giant brown getup. Warrior runs down with the IC belt and throws it down. Well this should be great I'm sure. Powerslam hits as does an axehandle. Quake gets involved so Warrior takes Jimmy's pants off to toss him into Quake. Warrior eats a back suplex and we get a long bearhug. Dino sends him out to Quake and hits the side slam for 2. Warrior gets all crazy and slams Dino's head into his chest before hitting a series of lariats. Big diving shoulder hits as does a splash, but Quake gets involved for a DQ. Quake attacks him and Hogan makes a save after a series of elbows.

Mr. Fuji is the focus of the manager spotlight. Dear God why! This is actually not too bad since it shows him leading his teams to destroy others violently. His promo though is terrible. Brutus cuts a promo on Martel and Martel cuts one on him before revealing how roided up he is. Martel's perm is out of control. Nice leapfrog from Martel leads to a stomp to the face. Bell ringer from Brutus. Long chinlock by Martel. He lands a big backbreaker and goes up top and Brutus shakes the ropes and Martel drops on the post. Brutus slugs away and flips him down. Brutus lifts him up three times before doing an inverted atomic drop - now that's a simple way to bring things back in a big way. Outside-in sunset flip from Brutus, but Martel stops short and uses the ropes to win. The ref is told what happens and Brutus doesn't win, but KOs Martel with the sleeper before Martel leaves quickly.

Bret and Anvil cut a promo with Anvil going crazy in an amazing way. Bret is a nice promo in a subdued way. Anvil is crazy-good though and oozing personality. They face the Powers of Pain and we get a bull charge spot by Jim and Barb before a misue takes Warlord down and a quick cradle gets 2. Bret goes after Barb with punches. Anvil carnks on a long armbar. Jim gets a big flying tackle that looks great. Powers of Pains are counted out after a brawl. Next, they face Dino and Honky. Anvil takes the shades off Bret and throws them to a fan.

Dino takes down Bret, who gets 2 off a crossbody. HTM is in and has his wacky selling against Jim. HTM gets a wishbone and sells hilariously. HTM is in a bearhug and goes into hysterics. The heels double team Anvil before Bret comes in and runs wild. Bret gets a sunset flip, but the megaphone is thrown in and Jim bonks the heels with it for a DQ. They cut a promo on the Rockers and Anvil compares them to kittens trying to find milk in a jungle. Dude could cut a good promo. It's astounding how much of an RNR Express knockoff the Rockers were. I like the babyface vs. babyface story being told here and Alfred gives the Foundation the nod in theory due to them being tag champs befeore.

Marty and Bret start off with a tieup while Hayes talks about how each team watches tape, and probably Coliseum tapes, to learn their rivals. Marty works on the arm before tagging in Michaels, but Bret counters and eats an inverted atomic drop. Anvil is in and slams him before throwing him into the rope for Bret to knee the back - letting them play subtle heels. The ref is with Marty, so Bret comes in to hit the backbreaker! I love this! Bret comes in and attacks before tagging Anvil back in. Jim grabs a chinlock and some tights to keep it on. Bret is in and Michaels tilt a whirls himself up and slams Bret down. Jim comes in for a nice dropkick for 2. Back and forth tag work leads to a slingshot splash from Anvil missing. MARTY GETS THE HOT TAG and hits a jumping elbow and dropkick. SUPERKICK PARTY BY THE ROCKERS!

Michaels gets 2 off a suplex and Bret comes back with a big lariat. Jim comes in and pounces Michaels. He goes into the ropes and Bret goes off into the barricade but the Rougeaus are out to beat up the Rockers before the Foundation comes in to make a save. This was an awesome match. We get a look at the WWF production trucks. Al talks about the included stereo, VCR, and how the crews are running 24/7!

Hogan vs. Perfect is up and this is a lot of fun. Perfect is a great chickenshit heel. Noggin knocker on the floor. Perfect gets hung up on the ropes and Genius eats an atomic drop. Hogan ragdolls Genius and Perfect, but ducks his head and eats a boot. Hogan reverses a post shot and Perfect takes five bumps off it. Vlad rocks out in his Macho Man shirt! Perfect goes up and nearly gets slammed, but pokes the eye and locks a sleeper and drags him down. The arm drops twice and he hulks up. Perfect goes up and gets crotched, lifted, crotched, lifted, and crotched complete with wacky selling. Perfectplex gets 2 and Hogan eats a shot with knucks. Hogan slugs him with them and hits the leg, but the ref DQs Hogan for the weapon shot.

Akeem and DiBiase are out to face Roberts and Warrior with Bossmn as the ref. Warrior sledges Akeem. Jake is in and gets run down by Akeem. Warrior comes in and runs wild on everyone before pinning Ted with a splash. Jake stands tall in the end by putting the snake on Virgil.
