NXT No Mercy 2025

 

Work was draining, so what the heck - enjoy a good NXT show! Jevon vs. Briggs starts and Evans is one of the best babyfaces in peril you'll see. Briggs is...aight I guess. Oscutter wins it after he gets his ass beat a bunch - well they're setting him up for the X Title so this works. NM classic shows Trick beating Dom in 2023. Women's SPEED Title is up for a mystery challenger with Sol defending against Jaida Parker. Sol hits a chop to the ass after a snapping tarantula by Sol. Jaida hits the corner ass shot and got 2. Sol Snatcher after a Zaria distraction wins it. Backstage, Joe Hendry gets warned by Darkstate.  

Weaponized cage match time between Blake and Jordynne and I love them busting out the rosebud video for Jorydnne's history. Jordynne's theme is terrible and she's in all white - so we're getting color here. Blake Monroe, name aside, still has HER energy. JG spinebuster on a pink chair for 2 and now a PINK KENDO STICK is here. LIONTAMER WITH A CHAIR BY JORDYNNE! Blake uses a pink hair dryer THAT IS CORDED to tie up the bad hand. Blake gets scissors and CUTS HER HAIR. So no Ricochet here. Jordynne hits a flurry of lariats before THE SLIM JIM TABLE is set up and they climb up top of the cage for a brawl. Avalanche powerbomb is avoided by Grace and she gets a super air raid crash to win.

Ava announces NXT TNA INVASION for October 7. I love Ava's giant A mug - now we need a time lapse skit of Ava and SANTINO FUCKING MARELLA talking for hours. Lash talks shit about Jaida and they brawl and we get a chat with Lainey Reed. Tavion is out to face Ethan for the NA Title after we see Page beat Hendry to retain the NXT Title last year.  Page hits a Roddy backbreaker off the top and the avalanche powerslam and then the twisted grin wins it. 

Lola Vice is ready for her title match with Jacy Jayne and Jacy hits a cannonball on the steps outside. Lola gets attacked on the floor and Jacy wins. Ricky vs. Oba is up and Ricky eats a beating until a spear gets him 2. Starks gets a DDT counter off a powerbomb on the announce table and then a run up tornado DDT off the apron. Saints hits FOUR MORE TORNADO DDTS to win the title. Well that's a weird finish but this title win is sure better than him doing whatever in AEW/ROH. 

 

AEW Dynamite 9-24-25 FALLOUT FROM ALL OUT!

 

We get Ex hyping up the FALLOUT FROM ALL OUT that should be a show name and we get Hanger vs Lee Moriarty tonight for the title - starting it off. Hanger says he wanted Pittsburgh's finest and he wants his A game. Well it's not starting off, which is odd to imply but we get The Demand's GOA against BRODIDO to start for tag titles. GOA isolates Bandido and Ricochet is pure gold on commentary. Backstabber/diving headbutt from Kahn gets 2. GOA takes Brody down and runs wild on Brody before he does a ONE MAN ON TWO ELECTRIC CHAIR DROP! Ricochet gets ejected after bringing a chair in and we get 2 for the faces. GOA double spinebuster gets 2! Brody suicide dive and the 21 Plex win it! This was a ton of fun!

Wacky Conglomeration promo hypes up Orange Cassidy without actually saying his name. Lee vs. Hanger is up next. Kris and HARLEY CAMERON THE MEGASTAR are backstage and Kris is a bit heelish and a Lee video airs after Hanger is out - good hype video but it should have aired before this. Lee gets a nice kick to the jaw and a jawjacker. Deadeye AVOIDED and the border city stretch is on! Deadeye lands and wins it!  

We see post-show stuff from Cope saying he's leaving again to help Beth and he tells Cage he has family. Tony condemns FTR for piledriving Beth sand FINGERWAGS THEM! Dash blames Cope and Stoke FORGIVES BETH! They went to church on Sunday and he wasn't running up the ramp to introduce himself to Beth and he got a spear instead of a handshake AND IN FACT HE WAS ABOUT TO NIP UP BEFORE SHE CARRIED HIM AWAY. FTR is interrupted RATHER RUDELY by Willow.  She tells them to cut the hsit and give it another go or leave. 

MJF says that he was THE GUY and then Adam Cole broke his ankle and his heart and he lost his world title! He's not MJF - he's playing MJF and made more doubt in his head and the tacks are doubts and he is coming back when he's BACK and he sings My Way by Sinatra. Don introduces SOME OF HIS BEST ARTWORK EVER and he's got NEW ART! But Orange has destroyed it and walks out of it!

OC DIVE!Hologram beats Hechicero with the portal bomb. THE PROTOOOOOSSTTARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR is here! And Also Hologram is 34-0! He says he's never felt so crushed but he looked and remembered who he is - HE'S THE PROTOSSTTTAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR and the greatest TNT Champion of all time! Dynamite 6 has Fletcher vs. Hologram! 

JURASSIC EXPRESS RETURN NEXT WEEK! We get a cool Claudio intro before Hobbs and Claudio have a hoss-off. BARRICADE BACK SUPLEX BY CLAUDIO! Claudio wins it thanks to Pac and YUTA JUMPS JOE! THE HANGMAN IS HERE TO SAVE! Deadeye replay from earlier gets the Superman move of the night and TONY IS HERE! YAY WOMENS TAGS and the belts are basically just the mens tags - okay cool those are great belts.

 Mina has the charisma of a trillion others and Yuta's out. Tornado DDT to Kris against the ropes! KOMANDER VS. FLETCHER FOR THE TNT TITLE! Death Riders face Opps and Hanger next week! Cro Cop kick and the scoop fire thunder driver gets 2! Basement discus elbow by Mina and then a victory roll into the figure four! KRIS GETS THE ROPES! Superkick by Stat off an irish whip! SPINNING BACKFIST BY MINA! SEATBELT WINS IT!

Harley and Yuta are here and then the rest of the Riders are out AND NOW MOX! Kris hits a shortarm lariat on Yuta and FLIPS OFF MOX AND RUNS AWAY! Darby AND HIS FLAMETHROWER ARE HERE and he wants Mox in an I QUIT MATCH! Darby and Kris face Mox and Marina on DYNAMITE!

 

WWE WrestlePalooza 2025

 

WWE is superloading this show up against ALL OUT for their ESPN debut but I'm going with international Netflix thanks to Steph's suggestion to just use my existing Netflix sub. WWE gets sponsored guys walking and Becky feels like the A women's champ now. HHH hypes an ESPN video and we get Vince on-screen again. HHH is in the PAPA JOHNS WRESTLEPALOOZA RING and HHH blows himself some more and this name really sucks when they also own Fall Brawl. Pat McAfee is here too. 

Brock is out looking bigger than he ever has in his life and Cena does a cool intro with kids. Heyman does Brock's intro for him before Brock runs wild with shoulder charges and a big lariat before a Davey powerslam. SUPLEX CITY! And he counts them down after avoiding an AA and hitting another lariat. AA and Brock's up. ANOTHER AND HE'S UP. A THIRD GETS 2. TWO F5S! A third, but Brock's too tired to cover. FOURTH F5! Five and six AND IT'S OVER. Better than expected.

Usos vs. The Vision is up with Knight as ref. Chairshots for both sides show Knight is just going to let it be a brawl. Not really much to this beyond spots and the splash finishes an okay WWE 2K25-ish tornado tag match. Vaquer and Iyo are up for the women's world title. They just tear the house down with dives that are a blend of safe from Vaquer and terrifying from Iyo. Iyo gets her crossface and Vaquer rolls out right into a kamigoye! FLASH RANA AND A BUZZSAW KICK GETS 2!

Rope and corner dragon screws by Steph! Devil's kiss and the butterfly backbreaker gets 2! BULLET TRAIN KNEES BY IYO WITH NO KNEEPADS! OVER THE MOONSAULT MISSES WITH NO KNEEPADS! SPIRAL TAP BY VAQUER WINS IT! She celebrates with her dad who does the DDP belt lift upside-down. Cody chats with Travis Hailburton backstage.

AJ and Punk face Lynch and Seth. Seth and Becky are out in insane getups even by their standards and get a half and half theme presentation that I like. We get some stalling before AJ and Becky start off before Becky tags out to have the guys go at it and hold off AJ more. Bunch of nothing going on until AJ tags in and Thesz presses Becky. AJ politely stomps a mudhole in the corner before doing the corner punches and slapping both Becky and Seth. Double-team standing shirunai hits for AJ! Black widow and the sharpshooter are on for the faces. BLACK WIDOW TO SETH! Heels hit the pedigree and get 2.5. 

BEXPLODER to AJ sets up AJ doing one to her. CURB STOMP TO SETH BY PUNK! Becky and Punk exchange sharpshooters to each other. STOMP TO PUNK! AJ STOMPS SETH and the manhandle slam gets 2.9 for Becky! Goofy table stuff on each side and AJ gets thrown into Punk by Becky to end that. Black Widow to Becky thankfully ends this.

Steph gets an intro as does ABA Taker and he...hops in the crowd to chat with Steph and show off his...legendary mic skills and hypes up DX for YET ANOTHER HHH ENTRANCE! ? No - instead it's Steph going into the HOF. OH JOY. Cody vs. Drew is up and Cody hits a Cody Cutter and a suicide dive. Drew hits a fallaway slam OVER THE ANNOUNCE TABLE on Cody. Ouch.  Drew rains punches down from the mount before a BOO/YAY punch exchange. AVALANCHE WHITE NOISE BY DREW gets 2. Claymore misses and Drew gets locked into a figure four. Cross Rhodes gets 2. Claymore through the announce table takes Drew out for a bit. Glasgow Kiss hits! SUPER CODY CUTTER HITS! CROSS RHODES WINS IT! 

AEW Dynamite 9-17-25 - September to Remember

 

After a month at the ECW Arena, AEW is back with...a show name inspired by ECW in September to Remember. It's a three hour show and we start with a contract signing for Fletcher vs. Hangman and if any DCF member comes in, he gets stripped of the TNT Title. Mox-Darby hype video airs and it's time for Mox vs. Roddy Strong and Danielson puts over Garcia but he's given up on Yuta. 

Roddy gets an edge and Mox hides behind Marina to an extent and Taz says that maybe Roddy is enamored by her. LOL. GUT CHECK BY RODDY! Mox wins it and we get an MJF-Mark video and MJF bitches to TK who tells him HE VIOLATED THE RULES. HOSS BATTLE time with Toa vs. Lashley and Lashley's in killer red gear. APRON SAMOAN DROP TO LASHLEY! Longrun spear on the floor by Lashley! HURT LOCK TO TOA! THE HOOKS ARE IN ON THE FULL NELSON FOR THE WIN! C and C vs. FTR hype is up next.

Cope and Cage look 200 standing on the rope and Cash talks about Cope giving him a chance and FTR runs down their killer library of matches that...might get them a WWE call to not use certain names again. FOR COPE AND CAGE IT'S A DREAM MATCH - but this...it's just Saturday. Cope says he gave Cash a place to live and he didn't ask for anything and they brawl and Dax gets sliced up. Bucks beat Juice and Austin before it's time for MORTOS VS. MASCARA DORADA! Dorada hits TWO DESTROYERS IN CANADA before going for a handspring version, but eating the Hell Hole for 2.5. Some goofy shit is missed and the SSP wins for Dorada. Takeshita and Okada staredown makes Don nervous!

Toni cuts a promo and adds "the skank you want to spank" to the lineup. Jamie says she doesn't like the spotlight and Kris says THEY CAN'T STOP STAT! Toni says "trim your bushes, bitches!" AND IT'S TIME FOR THEKLA VS. AMINATA SOMEHOW! Kneeling slaps and elbow shots! Headbutt hits for Queen and the All Rights Reserved graphic airs. Hmm. Okay so the show needs a separate feed via Collision now being the show..that they never announced. Thekla cuts a money promo before a brawl and a promo from SkyFlight. JetSpeed or whatever they're called face the Patriarchy and Jet Speed wins off a Luchasaurus slap leading to the finish. Big Bill cuts a money promo on Eddie 

Sitdown interview with Danielson as JR and he's great in this role and Darby is compelling with everything he does. THE CEO IS HERE! Mercedes runs down how Riho is 28 and has wrestled since she was 7. Riho wins and Shibata vs. Garcia III happens for the pre-show. DCF is out with EPIC DON CALLIS as Josh and Hechicero face SkyFlgiht and the slicing headscissor wins it for Hechicero. 

The DCF beats up Daniels but HANGMAN SAVES! 

AEW Dynamite 9-10-25

 

What an insane day - it's the day before 9/11, Charlie Kirk was shot and killed and my primary PC was overheating overnight or maybe there was a power surge or something knocked it wonky. LUCKILY, I have my Woot gaming PC and despite it lacking a PCIE slot, it does have USBC ports and that works for my Avermedia external card that I got from Madlittlepixel's shop and boy am I glad I found his page because it's gotten me mini PCs and this capture card was like half-off too. I actually forgot I bought this one and was looking for another one and found it and IT RECORDS IN HDR!

Callis joins Excalibur, Taz, and Danielson on commentary for Hangman vs. Alexander. Fast start with Hanger going for a plancha and meeting a punch on the way down before Josh lands a brainbuster on the apron! Hanger recovers and lands his plancha! Brawl on the floor and Josh eats an exploder on the barricade! DEADEYE ON THE APRON! Fletcher comes out and a fan tells him to GET IN THE RING YOU SEXY MAN and fans chant about where his socks are. Hanger tells him he's built like a brick shithouse but he sees only one thing with him - 

Bucks are rejected by the Dark Order backstage and EVEN CUTLER IS SICK OF THEIR SHIT! Mox comes in and tells them to knock shit off because THEY'RE STILL THE BEST TAG TEAM IN THE WORLD. SHOW UP TO WIN! He gives them the DRs' cut! Mone and Sakura are out to face Riho and WINDSAHHHH! Poetry in Motion foream by Riho doing the forearm off Alex. Windsor tags in and slugs away at Mone! Flying standing headbutt by WINDSAH leads to the sharpshooter teased with WINDSAHHH! Quebecers finish by Sakura to Riho gets 2. SOS looks like shit and gets...2...after a decade of waiting for the cover. Riho gets a half crab win while WINDSAH has Mone trapped in the sharpshooter in the ropes!

An epic history video airs on FTR-Cope and Cage and HDR really pops here. Shelton says P AND BOB can stay in the back. SHOW SOME LOVE for Ricochet and he and Shelton mesh well. "EVERYONE'S BALD": chant and we get some great faces from Shelton. WE BALD PEOPLE chant! SUPLEX SYNDICATE CITY BY SHELTON! One too many and Ricochet flips through and double stomps! THRUST KICK BY SHELTON! SPANISH FLY BY RICOCHET GETS 2! Ricochet brings in scissors and Shelton destroys them before Ricochet's goons are out and Ricochet cradles him to win and WE BRAWL PEOPLE! 

Hook is on a roof with a fire and he says he got replaced early but HE'S DEFINITELY NOT MAD. Fletcher vs. Page is official with no DCF nearby. Toni is out with a sign from the building and Sandman's kendo stick! TONI DOES THE NEW JACK GUITAR BIT WITH A SIGN and then gets stapled in the tits, tummy and cooteral region. They fight on the barricade and get crotched before a forearm exchange. A MOUSE TRAP TABLE FROM TONI! 

Toni gives Excalibur cheese after revealing THE MOUSE TRAP TABLE and she eats a powerbomb through it. Well onto it. DDT on a chair gets 2 for Toni and TONI BONKS HER WITH AN ELECTRIC FLY SWATTER! RUNNING POWERBOMB TO A TRASH CAN GETS 2 FOR SKYE! HIP ATTACK WITH THE SIGN and the storm zero ends it. THAT RULED! Triangle of Madness attacks before Hayter and Kris save. SPEAR BY THEKLA!

Willow and Renee chat about WRESTLIN BEING BANANAS! Harley tries to bring she and Kris together with song and fails beautifully. THE BUCKS SHOOT NAMES are up with mugshots and they get the OG Dynamite theme. Yuta and Shibata are fantastic together and we're getting TV MAIN EVENTER SHIBATA in 2025. SUICIDE DIVE BY BRODY ON THE FLOOR TO BOTH BUCKS! Hobbs with MEAT MAYHEM ON MOX AND CLAUDIO! 

Yuta chairshots Hobbs and that was a mistake. Shift to Joe, Spinebuster by Hobbs to Mox. SHIBATA EATS DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! 2 FOR 1 RANA BY BANDIDO TO THE BUCKS! THE BUCKS USE THE ROPES TO WIN! They grab the bag of cash and BRODY CHOPS THEM AND THE CASH FLIES! DARBY AND MOX BRAWL!  BUT A GUY IN A HOOD DROPS DARBY AND IT'S DANNY GARCIA! CURB STOMP near the chair and then thankfully on it.
