This has PAC working live and I haven't seen any of his post-WWE work yet outside of some clips and the AEW presser - so what the heck. Simon Miller is made assistant GM. PAC vs Starr is hyped up and then the stream freezes for a bit and when it's back, a tag match is almost underway. Guys in pink win and one of the south coast connection in too-tiny red trunks cuts a promo.
Thomas and Mark Billington, the nephews of Dynamite, have a match. Lots of quick matwork and flips. They have a variety of tumbling exchanges and one of them lands a wonky dropkick. They badly need some different gear - because they each lookway too similar and have the same gear. Thomas has long hair and Mark has short hair. Tombstone by Thomas and a diving headbutt lands. Ass over teakettle suplex to the floor. SCC runs in and jumps them.
SCC is told that they please men orally and Marty Jones gets the mic. He asks who the hell are they leading to another WHO ARE YA chant. John Klinger cuts a pissed off promo in English before saying the fans don't deserve it in their language and speaks German instead. A creepy hacker promo airs and we get a bit of history - but no chyron graphics for who it is. Every show is someone's first and small things like that help.
Conor Renshaw is out to face Omari, who gets 2 off a powerbomb. Omari hits the O Zone for a quick win - and that's how you make someone stand out. Ameen chats with the King of the Interwebs champion about some stolen flashy glasses. The DEFIANT rule book is shown in giant wacky paper. Mark Haskins cuts a fantastic promo on the Anti Fun Police and calls out anyone in that group next week.
David Starr comes down to face PAC in one of the biggest matches of his career. Love PAC being introed as HE'S A BASTARD, PAC! He's got his Dragon Gate belt and that does look great. PAC gets a welcome home chant and hates it. THEN THE FANS SING "Pac is Coming Home!" Collar and elbow tieup starts and then they sing OH BASTARD WE LOVE YOU! Starr works on the arm.
PAC covers up from a head shot and then Starr rubs his cock on his head, so PAC beats him to death and the fans sing BASTARD and then FUCK HIM UP, BASTARD! Triangle lariat to PAC hits, but PAC lands a triangle moonsault to the floor. A back-bumping missile dropkick hits for 1. PAC boots him and chops him before hitting a running boot. Starr gets the machine gun chops in the corner. And then the stream dies and when it comes back, Starr wins. Joy!
