AEW Dynamite 4-30-25

 

Dynamite is in Norfolk and THE ALL-STAR 8 MAN TAG STARTS THE SHOW OFF! Mark, SpeedJet and KENNNY! SHOOOWWW Some Love for Ricochet remains tremendous alongside the Young Bucks being all ripped alongside Okada. They jump Omega to get the heat OH MY GOD THE PUMPHANDLE SPOT TO THE HEEL PARTNER'S ARM! I haven't seen that since the AWA replays on ESPN Classic! Kenny avoids elbows and we get some redneck kung fu from Mark! Elite eats a ton of suplexes after calling out BRAINBUSTAH and well that didn't work.

Dives to the floor hit for the faces, but Knight's UFO standing splash meets knees. STEREO DRAPING SWANTONS AND 450S FROM THE BUCKS! Okada elbow to Mark! Omega and Okada land forearms, but the OWA and rainmaker are avoided! Rainmaker is avoided again but a DOUBLE SUPERKICK HITS! Tombstones and sentons and covers get 2.9! JAY DRILLER TO OKADA but Ricochet breaks it up! RAINMAKER TO MARK ENDS IT! THIS RULED! This was the kind of match that if you're there live, you're glued to and if you're a kid, you're a fan for life after. Hurt Syndicate beats the shit out of dudes. THE OPPS MURK DUDES! Nick Camarato in a hoss battle! Claudio attacks after the match and gets beaten down by Joe. NEUTRALIZER TO THE CHAIR TO SHIBATA! Joe calls Mox a bitch when they throw hands. Mox vs. Joe is now a cage match! 

The Patriarchy is with Renee and Christian interrupts and Jay wants THE CHAMP! And Christian gives him the match to of course make him lose it one day.  Toni Storm is out to face Yamashita and Yamashita KICKS HER ASS AFTER A MISSED HIP ATTACK and then kick's Luther's ass! Disaster kick by Yamishita! Toni grabs the tights to avoid a knee strike and a sky high and fisherman suplex get 2. HIP ATTACK and the Storm Zero end it - this ruled. Short, but Yamashita used this to try and earn a contract. The CEO is out to tell the fans to shut up and say hello to their CEO! HAYTER JUMPS MONE! Toni bops to Jamie's thme before a Callis promo. Hurt Syndicate is out and MJF calls him BOB! And he toys with MJF on the thumb and gives him one down one more time. "YA KNOW BOB, I'M ABOUT SICK OF YOUR SHIT"! Lashley threatens him and tells him he needs to hurt someone...well that's pretty judicial actually. 

Lethal vs. Wayne is up with Lethal matwork to start and Nick wins with the sterness dust after a hook kick and work on the back. Joe vs. Mox in the cage is official. Fletcher vs. Hanger is up and Hanger whoops his ass in the corner. Kyle gets his back sliced up and an apron high kick and superkick AND APRON BRAINBUSTER BY FLETCHER! Hanger gets an Asai moonsaultt INNTO A TOMBSTONE ON THE FLOOR! SITOUT LAST RIDE GETS 2.9 FOR FLETCHER! Buckshot, LOW BLOW AND BRAINBUSTER BUT IT ONLY GETS 2.9! Helluva kick and the buckle brainbuster is poised but the top rope lariats and then a buckle-assisted buckshot and REGULAR BUCKSHOT WIN IT!

WWE Raw 4-28-25

 WWE is in Kansas City as part of a TKO weekend, complete with the TKO lettering in front of the venue.  Nile vs. Vaquer is up tonight and they just recap the Seth angle last week to start before Seth, Heyman, and Breakker are out. Seth trolls the fans while they sing his song before he rambles on for a while about nothing and Sami comes out. Show feels like it's 20 years long 12 minutes in. Thankfully, Rhea's aura is unreal and she has a short banger with Roxanne. Border Toss, kamigoye and kneeling headbutt hit but Giulia jumps for a DQ. Finn and JD are going for tag gold - which is NEWS TO FINN who plays happy for now. 

Logan Paul is shot with drone footage and it looks like a Temu drone. Logan buries Jey for looking like a fan and they bicker and that's probably up for Backlash. Judgement Day faces War Raiders next. Ivar misses a bodypress into the apron LED but his hits to take out New Day on commentary. Carlito distracts the ref and Penta pushes JD off the ropes and the War Machine hits to win it. Becky is out and says that she took out Bayley. Lyra comes out and her goofy long intro kills the vibe for that. They bicker and brawl and Becky jumps her afterwards. Penta and Gable argue and THE REDEEMER RUSEV is here with a cool video package. Nile vs. Vaquer is up and they start off with matwork before 2 sets of the devil's kiss. Ivy hits a German on the floor before a bridging German mid-ring gets 2.5. Superplex to Nile gets 2. Nile hits a Gunn slinger for 2. SVB backbreaker wins it! 

Pat jerks himself off for a while and says he's a loyal motherfucker. Pat jerks himself and Cole off and Aldis doesn't announce the end of Gunther's ban...unless Pat agrees to face Gunther at Backlash. Seth and Sami are mid-ring and Seth talks about Sami giving him advice about being a new parent. Sami says that Seth is dangling the World title in front of him and friend or not, you know the buttons to push. Breakker vs. Sami is up and Breakker wins by ref stoppage via spears. Seth tells BREAKKER he made his bed and stomps Sami.

AEW Collision 4-26-25 - Playoff Palooza

 Show starts at 8:50PM - weird timing but they'll do a huge number. Swerve's out and gets confronted by the Bucks who tell the crowd to SHUT THE EFF UP THEY ARE THE FOUNDING FATHERS! And they pulled some strings for him and HIS MATCH WITH BLAKE CHRISTIAN IS NOW! Blake jumps him and hits a plancha. JML Driver wins it and the Bucks hit the EVP Trigger before OMEGA SAVES AND HITS A PAIR OF SNAP DRAGONS TO MATT! 8-Man tag with Omega, the Bucks, Knight, Speedball, and Okada involved. Joe cuts a promo on Mox before Toni Storm is out to face Aminata. Lots of ass-related offense on both sides and the Storm Zero after the sky high and assalanche wins it. 

Team Jarrett HAS PROBLEMS and they're tired of Dutt. LET'S GO MAX YOU'RE THE BEST WRESTLER ALIVE! He gets destroyed by Hologram quickly with the portal bomb. Cru vs. Top Flight is an all-action garbage match with beads instead of tacks and a surprising heel win. Anna Jay is back and wins one quickly before Ford comes out and THEN MEGAN BAYNE! She destroys Anna and we get a Mone-Hayter video before Drailistco is out to face Bandido in...I think a title match based on the graphic. Decent little match. 21 Plex finish with a shoulder up at 3.1 - not a kickout like was said online. Bill and Keith call out the Gates of Agony and AR Fox faces RUSH next. RUSH massacres him and the main event is FTR vs. KOR and Roddy Strong with END OF HEARTACHE!

Cash setting up a WOO DOGGY BABYFACE BULLDOG into a shortarm lariat is brilliant. FTR wins after a figure 4 and a shatter machine hits after the fact. DANNY IS OUT WITH A CROWBAR to defend Cole and the Paragon. 

AEW Dynamite 4-23-25

 

Master P started off with Ian doing HOODY HOO! He brings out THA OPPS! Joe puts over P and the Death Riders jump the Opps but Joe chokes out Mox and the Elite chairshot Joe! Marina leads Mox away before Omega comes out to his FULL-ASS THEME that really doesn't work for arenas. "Show some love for...RICOCHET!" is out to face Mark Briscoe. Ricochet stooges for him and I really need Lawler vs. Ricochet before a Ricochet cutter gets 2. MARK PLAYS HIS HEAD LIKE A BONGO off a bulldog attempt! Ricochet uses the ropes, but IT'S TOO MUCH LEVERAGE AND HE GETS ROLLED UP AND LOSES! Ricochet goes to stab him with the scissors but Kevin Knight saves - well that's gonna rule.

Tony is mid-ring to bring out FTR but BIG STOKE INTERRUPTS! Stoke says he's going to have their suspensions taken away and the Rock and Roll Express comes out and eats a spike piledriver after Stoke shows off a new FTR LIVING LEGEND KILLERS shirt and Paragon saves. Bucks are out looking ripped to face Speedball and Knight. Double-team wheelbarrow X factor and then a moonsault! Tons of insane kicking shit before a superkick and then the Knight Marco dropkick is avoided and a backstabber hits for 2 before Matt saves. PK from Bailey And the UFO HITS BUT MATT SHOVES BAILEY INTO THE PILE FOR A SAVE! doomsday device on the floor! BARRICADE WALK MELTZER DRIVER! DOUBLE PK BY KNIGHT TO THE BUCKS! Ricochet helps the Bucks and the EVP Trigger wins it - near five-boy here. WOW!

Toni challenges any bitch with the itch to join the eliminator and Aminata vs. Storm is up for Saturday. The Hurt Syndicate is out and MJF interrupts with a sweet sports car before dickpunching the valet after saying "here's a tip!" SHELTON GIVES HIM A THUMBS UP due to MVP, not the broads or the watch. MJF sells himself on how making him a member lets them take over wrestling as a whole. MJF begins to apologize to BOB and gets a SAY YOU'RE SORRY chant. AND HE DOES AND HE GETS A POP! MJF offers up the car to BOB to get into the Syndicate and he wants to see the keys - well that's smart. They take the car and he's not in. BOO! MJF buries Hangman for his shitty haircut and says he'll beat him if they wrestle again. 

Ospreay and Brody are out to face Josh and Takeshita. Josh and Takeshita start off with a big double elbow drop and a bird flip from the Alpha. Blue thunder to Ospreay gets 2! BEACH BREAK has Joe vs. Mox - surprised that's not on DoN. POWER DRIVE KNEE BY TAKESHITA AND THE C4 SPIKE HITS AND WINS IT! RPG Vice jump Hangman! PAGE IS FIGHTING THE ODDS but falls to Fletcher and his belly shirt. BRAINBUSTER TO HANGMAN - so Hangman is seemingly beating him. 

HAYTER BOB VS. STAT BOOP! Stat gets a legsweep on the apron!  GRAPEVINE DRAGON SLEEPER BY STAT! Faceplanet to Hayter before a meteora to the neck to a kneeling Hayter gets 2. Staturday turned into a roll for 2. Hatebreaker to Stat! STAT HITS A 450 FOR 2! Shortarm lariat into the HAYTERADE WINS IT. Mone vs. Hayter is up for Double or Nothing! Staredown ends the show. 

WWE Raw 4-21-25 - Raw after Mania

 

Cena has the ring announcer give him this big intro and then calls the fans bullies. Cena blames the fames for hijacking Raw and says that the fans are too cowardly to apologize. A 'we aren't sorry" chant breaks out. Cena runs down his DATES and he says he doesn't have to wrestle, he just has to show up and pose. When that hits 0, the wrestling timeline stops cold. Orton RKOs him and poses and Liv and Raquel are out for the tag title rematch.

Heels get an edge after an ad break and a codebreaker hits Becky but Oblivion misses. Manhandle slam gets 2 thanks to Raquel saving. AVALANCHE POWERBOMB TO LYRA BY RAQUEL GETS 2! Oblivion head spike and LIV WINS IT AND THE FACE REIGN IS ONLY ONE DAY!? Becky attacks her to a BECKY chant. TWO MANHANDLE SLAMS and the fans chant for more. THIRD!

New Day and their banger theme are out and The Alpha Academy wants a tag title shot - Maxxine is good as a manager. And also RUSEV IS BACK and has a new epic theme. Miro destroys the Alpha Academy and he destroys Otis with the Game Over. Iyo says she is the best, she is the genius of the sky and the women's world champion. STEPHANIE VAQUER IS HERE! She introduces herself and we're getting Iyo vs. Vaquer at some point. Or right now - despite Vaquer being in a dress. 

Iyo suicide dive to Vaquer! Bullet train knees in the corner for 2! Vaquer hits a meteora of her own for 2 after a dragon screw in the rope! Vaquer hits the knee head spike for 2. LA MISTICA INTO A SCHOOLGIRL FOR 2 BY VAQUER!  This is the best match on Raw all year - wow. SPANISH FLY OFF THE TOP BY IYO! And Roxanne jumps Iyo! GIULIA SAVES! BUT SHE TURNS WITH PEREZ and now it's Rhea! Epic Jey Uso video sets up him coming out. Sami is out to congratulate him and we get an UCEY chant. Sami says it was hard to be sidelined for WM and he almost didn't come here but he had to be there for him - and tell him how proud he is of him! They hug and now Jimmy's out 

Logan Paul hypes up his new streak and AJ says he's phenomenal and he'll bounce back and Kross knocks him and he doesn't want to turn to his evil ways again. He couldn't look at himself in the mirror. Dom vs Penta is up. BUT FIRST Gunther beats up and chokes out McAfee!  Joe Tessitore returns and he's great at recapping things - a lot like Bill Mercer in that regard. Medical looks at Pat and Cole asks Pearce how they can deal with this with and he won't accept the night off. 

Dom vs. Penta is up and Dom avoids a destroyer and lands a tornado DDT for 2. Penta takes out Dom and Finn on the floor and JD returns and sets up a 619 for Dom. FROG SPLASH WINS IT FOR DOM! Tessitore talks more about Pat and I think the show may still have content. EL GRANDE AMERICANO TIME! Nice video package and Seth is out and gets slugged away by Punk. And Heyman STARTS HIS PROMO as the signature goes up. AND THE TRIBAL CHIEF IS HERE! Spear to Seth after Punk ate a stomp! SUPERMAN PUNCH TO HEYMAN! REIGNS EATS A BREAKKER SPEAR AS DOES PUNK! Oh hell yeah HE'S A HEYMAN GUY! SUPER SPEAR THROUGH THE BARRICADE! 

Very newsworthy show and a fast 3 hours.

AEW Collision 4-17-25 - Spring Breakthru

 

Well, this is far less of a killer lineup - but still solid. Archer vs. Kevin Knight looks like it should be fire. Tony and Nigel are here and Tony sounds underwater. And ditto Nigel. Owen tourney recap from last night alongside the rest of the show. Marina beats up a Renegade and they all beat up some crew before Mox challenges Joe. Archer jumps Knight and a big shortarm lariat hist! Fantastic David vs. Goliath affair here and a flash cradle gives Knight 2 alongside a dropkick out of a chokeslam and a flip out of the blackout! Avalanche flash rana to Archer! UFO SPLASH HITS FOR 2! DIVING LARIAT TO THE FLOOR AND ANOTHER SPRINGBOARD ONE MID-RING TO WIN IT!

Alexander and Takeshita vs. Romero and Ishii is up and we need Alexander vs. Ishii ASAP. Rocky avoids a save and Ishii drops the fall. AND TRENT IS BACK RPG VICE IS BACK! THE DCF GAINS 2 MORE! MERCEDES TALKS TO MINI MONE - a thing that you cannot buy for some reason. Bayne destroys Ashley Vox and someone else quickly. Triple powerbomb and an F5 wins it. BOW DOWN is her 5 count - I love it. CLAUDIO IS HERE LOOKING BADASS TO FACE COLE and he tosses a chair and nails Nigel's leg and then Claudio just hurks him onto the LED board and Cole takes a nasty bump.

Claudio chucks him into the crowd from the floor! Ushiguroshi after a superkick gets 2 for Cole, somehow. GIANT SWING BY CLAUDIO GETS 2! Corner uppercuts to Cole! AND ANOTHER! AND BACK ELBOWS! Avalanche superplex hits, but a cocky cover leads to a crucifix and a flash win! Tremendous - probably Cole's best AEW match since his first MJF one in DC. Claudio destroys the announce desk. Backstage, Bill and Keith are together with Lexi and Bill says he's disappointed in Chris and Bill looks 70 feet tall with Keith. 

LFI is out and they destroy Kevin Matthews. Nick Wayne vs. Komander is up and Wayne has a bad shoulder and eats a crazy springboard destroyer after a 619 counters the Wayne's World and a giant dive hits. ROPEWALK SSP IS AVOIDED! THE STERNESS DUST/PRODIGYPLEX HITS FOR THE WIN AND NICK WAYNE IS ROH TV CHAMPION! Toni is out for commentary for Julia and Kris vs. Harley and Mercedes. JULIA BULLIES THE PUPPET and Harley eats a deadlift suplex after trying a schoolgirl on THOSE THIGHS. Julia does a scaredy Old School  KRIS SUPLEXES THEM THREE TIMES and Toni lusts after her. Kris wins it and Toni is smitten by Kris.

AEW Dynamite 4-16-25 - Spring Breakthru

Dynamite celebrates beating Nitro's episode count tonight with Ospreay vs. Takeshita on free TV! They're in Boston, so Mercedes vs. Athena opens. HOOK is out of the trios tag title match now - so I guess he was pretty ill. Tieup to the floor to start and corner knees get 1 for Mone. La mistica into the crossface by Mone but Athena goes to the floor and Mone keeps it on! THREE AMIGOS but an Athena double powerbomb and now a trifecta! Fallen Goddess/CEO chant breaks out and this is all-action! As a straight match, this may be the best women's match in AEW history! Apron teep kick by Athena and then an APRON POWERSLAM! 

Athena misses a barricade charge and bonks it. AN O'CONNOR ROLL WINS IT FOR MERCEDES! This match was unreal! Toni is out to set that up for ALL IN Texas even with the finals still to go - good move. Make people think about the match early. The Bucks quote the Bible and they suck up with the Death Riders issue. Okada tells him to smile BITCH! Hanger vs. Wild Card is up. AND THE WILD CARD IS JOSH ALEXANDER!

Josh chops him up in the corner before an apron stun gun before Hangman HITS A DRAPING BARRICADE LARIAT! Release German gets 2 for Josh. If Hanger wins, it sets up Fletcher vs. Hangman, which could set up a whole summer of Hanger vs. the DCF! APRON WORLDS STRONGEST SLAM BY JOSH and then a basement crossbody to the back! FLASH CRADLE WINS IT FOR HANGER! Hanger and Fletcher brawl and I can easily see Hanger losing and giving Fletcher a big win. C4 spike hits alongside a sheer drop brainbuster from Fletcher!

Patriarchy is here and Christian says DADDY'S HOME, NICK! Nick tells him that he was afraid to cash-in because Cope could win the World title before him! Nick Wayne faces Komander tomorrow night for the ROH TV Title and I like that title being used to further things. FTR-Cope video. Hurt Syndicate vs. Gates of Agony is up and that should be a fun MEAT MATCH! Shelton DDTs Toa, who has the titties. Bishop joins him for a clubbering! Lashley hits a snap flatliner and this dude in nearing 50 and just doesn't age at all. Bishop gets sent to suplex city by Shelton! BLINDSIDE SPEAR TO TOA ON THE FLOOR! Mid-ring spear wins it - this ruled! 

MJF is out and kisses ass and he brings out babes for them. Shelton says he needs more TIME and wants his watch. AND IT'S STILL A NO! MJF says he's growing on Shelton and as a token to him, he's got the watch. MJF says he'll win him over down the road - ditto Lashley, who he needs to win over. Ospreay vs. Takeshita is hyped up and it is next! MVP is backstage with them and tells them it's just business with MJF and Lashley is making it personal. Ospreay vs. Takeshita is up! LEAPING LARIAT FROM THE ALPHA! TAKESHITA FLIP DIVE! ONLY ONE BREAK AND THAT WAS IT!

OSPREAY HITS AN OSCUTTER ON THE RAMP! Ospreay lands a coast to coast basement dropkick and a skytwister gets 2! OSCUTTER MID-RING FOR 2! STORMBREAKER COUNTERED INTO A GERMAN AND A BRIDGE OVER IT FOR 2.9! PAIR OF BIG BOOTS BY OSPREAY AND TAKESHITA CATCHES A FOOT AND FOREARMS HIM! Raging fire meets a hook kick AND A HIDDEN BLADE IS MET WITH A DROPKICK, ELBOW SHOT AND A BLUE THUNDER BOMB FOR 2.9! HIDDEN BLADE GETS 1! MASSIVE LARIAT FROM TAKESHITA! Ospreay hits the wheelbarrow driver and TAKESHITA GETS A DESPERATION HIDDEN BLADE!

THEY GET UP AT 9.5! TURNBUCKLE RISING HEADBUTT FROM OSPREAY! AVALANCHE LARIAT HITS BUT OSPREAY FLIPS OUT AND HITS A HIDDEN BLADE FOR 2.9! Elbow Pad is down for Ospreay and a KNEE HITS FOR TAKESHITA! Raging fire is turned into the Styles clash for 2.9! BACKSLIDE AND A RISING KNEE HIT FOR TAKESHITA! STORMBREAKER HITS TO WIN IT! THIS RULED! This was probably the best Dynamite match since Omega vs. Danielson! Well I need a smoke after that one. Goddamn what an incredible match! Best Dynamite match since Omega vs. Danielson!

Super-cool intro with the Death Riders coming through the building and HOBBS IS WITH THE OPPS HERE! SHAFIR CLIPS HOBBS! Mox gets a chair and Willow takes it away and Joe boots him and IT'S SPINEBUSTER TIME BY HOBBS! Bucks are out AND SWERVE ATTACKS THE BUCKS! SLEEPER, PK AND RNC ON THE RAMP! URANAGE TO YUTA ON THE DESK! LARIAT BY WILLOW TO TAKE OUT MARINA! COQUINA CLUTCH WINS IT! 

What a cool show-closing moment with everyone celebrating - this almost felt like Luger winning the WCW Title before Hog Wild.

WWE Raw 4-14-25 - WM Go-Home Show

 It's the final Raw before WM! We get ARRIVALS before a clip show of Raw. Gunther-Jey recap and Gunther's out for a Cole interview. Liv is out to face Bayley and we get a recap with Bianca in this for some reason. Liv hits three amigos on the floor, but the third is blocked by Bayley. SUPLEX OFF THE STEPS BY LIV! JACKKNIFE PIN BY BAYLEY WINS IT and she grapevined the legs too. Punk Seth Roman video. Rey vs. Julius is up and Gable's interference leads to a loss with the drop of the dime. FLYING LOADED FOREHEAD SHOT from Gable! War Raiders video hypes them up for being global champs.

AJ vs. Kross is up and Kross is in tights MADE BY AJ'S GEAR MAKER to make him go back to his evil ways. Kross gets a DVD but eats the forearm to end it. Logan's out and talks shit and a hype video airs. Loaded punch and the Paulverizer hit! Putting the nothing in nothing promo there - wow not a great final bit for Jey. Judgment Day beats up Bron and PENTA NOW HAS A BRANDED MOUTHGUARD! Penta vs. Balor is up and Balor gets 2 off a superplex. Superkick and a pop-up backstabber by Penta! AVALANCHE INVERTED SLINGBLADE and a tilt a whirl backbreaker by Penta and Breakker whoops ass. 

Heyman and Punk chat before Roman arrives in a big SUV. Roman and Heyman spend a trillion years building to Roman finally talking to Heyman. Heyman gets a YOU FUCKED UP chant that they don't bother with muting for a while before finally do. They yammer and Roman brawls with Seth and Roman pie-faces Heyman before Punk comes out and eats a spear. SETH WITH A CHAIRSHOT TO THE BACK AGAIN. Seth hits stomps to his rivals and that's it. Well it was a show.

AEW Collision 4-12-25

 

Three women's matches and three Owen matches are on tap and Pac is out and Mox is now one-third of the trios champions as well to replace Pac. FTR is out and "Darkside of FTR" is a great theme name for heels. FTR talks about why they turned on Cope because he was selfish and Dax calls in Tony and Nigel tells him to stay and Tony says hey, you guys were wrong! Tony has been on Turner stations about as long as both members of FTR have lived on the Earth and he looks younger than both of them. They go to spike piledriver him and Nigel saves! DG comes in and gets shoved down before hugging Tony. Toni cuts a promo on the OH Foundation tourney and it's time for Hayer and Starkz.

Forearm shivers by Billie but a spinebuster gets 2 for Jamie before Billie ties her up on the mat. Ushiguroshi and BASEMENT Hayterade hit AND GET 2! Run-up Hayterade is met with a backslide for 2 and then a brainbuster on the knee for 2. STARKZ SWANTON GETS 2! Billie yells that SHE AIN'T SHIT and fights on the apron! APRON SUPLEX is good for 9.5 on the floor! English Curse backbreaker and the Hayterade win it! Gates of Agony win a squash. Bowens beats Blake Christian quickly with the molly whop. Bayne squashes 2 women quickly with an F5. Fox vs. Knight is up and rules! Soarinng springboard lariat wins it for Knight!

FTR vs. Daddy Magic and Ange is up and it's a quick beating until The Paragon saves. Harley loses a quick one to Athena.  Takeshita is shown beating Tana at Windy City Riot before facing Brody King!
