AEW Collision 11-27-25 - Thanksgiving!

 

C2 time to start with Pac facing Speedball and chops and forearms start us off. Big boot sends Pac to the floor and a triangle moonsault hits Pac! Discus forearm by Bailey and a running brogue by Pac! Bailey eats Germans on the floor for a 9.5 on the floor before an Asai moonsault! Corner belly to belly by Pac! POISON RANA BY BAILEY! Corner tornado kick hits but the Ultima Weapon misses and a lariat/brutalizer wins it! This ruled! Okada vs. Pac on Dynamite should be even better. Danny tells Daddy Magic he needs to bleed one more time for him tonight and Mox steals the show with his mugging.

BRODIDO WANTS THE GOLD and Mox is great on commentary for Danny vs Daddy and Danny is headhunting with a dropkick trapping Daddy's head between the post and steps. DADDY MAGIC HULKS UP WITH DANNY'S DANCE and gets a schoolboy but THE BULLDOG CHOKE WINS IT! And now Mark's out with his new TNT Title after Danny talked about getting his belt back and Mox is just dumbfounded as to what he's saying. 

Ricochet says that as National Champ, he's the trendsetter. FTR and BIG STOKE are out to celebrate and Dax in glasses is hilarious before THE GUNN CLUB interrupts and they want the gold after beating FTR a few weeks ago - good TV match there. MxM TV is out dressed as the Wizard of Oz goons and THE DALTON RUNNERS ARE HERE! SON OF A BITCH elbow and the bangarang wins it! And The Demand whoops some ass. Ricochet shoves someone in the crowd and we get DCF bickering.

Shibata vs. Kingston is up and Kingston gets jumped before Shibata stomps on the arm after eating a butterfly suplex. Corner kick by Shibata is countered by a boot and a DDT WINS IT FOR KINGSTON and Nigel plays it up as the brain injury making him vulnerable there. Kingston says Hook's still his boy but he's gonna have to pay Hangman and Swerve. Kingston is told he's loved and he says he didn't want to deserve it and he isn't a character - he's pro wrestling. If you say you love him, he loves you because YOU LOVE PRO WRESTLING! Joe is the champ and Eddie says he has no peace without this ring and on December 10, Winter is Coming, he wants the AEW World Title!

Thekla vs. Tay is up and Nigel talks about Tay using judo to stay out of the streets. Tay dominates with a judo throw and inverted gogoplata before eating a face wash on the rope. Tay eats a suplex on the ramp and then the Death Trap is on BUT TAY ESCAPES and eats a superkick! THEKLA SPEAR IS MET WITH A KNEE FOR 2! CURB STOMP WINS IT FOR THEKLA! That ruled! The Sisters attack before Hayter saves and also here's Kris Statlander. 

C2 time with Takeshita vs. Roddy! Roddy avoids some stuff and looks on STERNLY! OKADA-STYLE GODDAMN DROPKICK BY RODDY! Floatover INTO AN OLYPIC SLAM BY RODDY! Inverted uranaga and the Tiger driver gets 2.5! Atomic toss by Roddy into a BLUE THUNDER BOMB BY TAKESHITA FOR 2! GAMENGUIRI BY RODDY to avoid an avalanche Falcon Arrow! TOP ROPE BUCKLE BACKBREAKER! Take blocks a knee with his forearm, which makes his forearm shiver only lightly rock Roddy into the ropes! Sick Kick avoided and turned into a mid-ring Chaos Theory for 2! Corner knee and the RAGING FIRE FALCON ARROW WIN IT! This absolutely ruled!

 

AEW Dynamite 11-26-25 - C2 Begins!

 

The tourney starts off strong with Fletcher vs. Okada, which could be a match of the year contender. Given that my head is just now not hurting like hell, I'm looking forward to this show quite a bit. Did a Fletcher vs. Okada match in 2K and loved it. Callis is out for commentary and Tony brings up Kyle winning the blue league last year - which is a great stat and one that I didn't think of. Nice start with them trying to out-heel each other on a handshake and Fletcher getting a headlock before a break off a corner crotching of Fletcher. OKADA GETS CROTCHED and eats a superplex! AIR RAID CRASH NECKBREAKER BY OKADA!

APRON PK avoided by Okada! DROPKICK, TOMBSTONE, RAINMAKER is avoided and turned into a Michinoku driver! LAWNDART AND A SITOUT LAST RIDE GETS 2 FOR FLETCHER! RAINMAKER AVOIDED AND FLETCHER VICTORY ROLLS HIM TO WIN and beats Okada in his second C2! Lexy chats with Omega and he says that he and the Bucks are mending fences and he was fooled by Don too and he has to take that into account with them and they walk out of his locker room. Cool stuff here.

Mark promo after the PPV about losing his brother and losing his other half - and it's been a long road and he had to wonder if he could do this without him, but he had to make him proud. "This is for you baby - we did it!" - beautiful moment there. BABES OF WRATH vs. Sisters of Sin is up and Julia gets a trip and standing moonsault for 2. Ground and pound from Syke before a break. Front and back PKs by the Sisters get 2! Willow hits a double suplex! Babes hit the flapjack splash for 2 and they win it with Her Finishing Move. 

Tony calls out Joe for his celebration and Hobbs does a twirl to tell Tony to leave and then GIANT SWERVE and Hanger arrive and Joe tells them to get the scrubs! Joe brings out Hook and that crooner theme works for a heel. Swerve and Hanger beat up the Dojo! SWERVE AND HANGER HANG DUDES! Epic Mox-KOR video before Mox vs. Dorada is up and Mox damn near overshoots a suicide dive and hits the rail hard. They hit the ropes and Mox gets kicked back and eats a basement enzuiguri! PK knee hits for Mox! TORNADO KICK BY DORADA! SSP eats the knees and a cradle and then a D'arce choke is on AND IT'S OVER! 

Marina comes out and does wacky whatevers before TONI STORM IS HERE WITH JON MOXLEY! She says she's the least-bitchy person in the ring and despite his love for cargo pants, Toni likes him but he operates in hate AND SHE OPERATES IN LOVE! Toni talks about not sleeping for 4 days until she woke up and saw her sweet Mina and she hasn't gotten her anything for Christmas! HARDCORE HOLIDAY TAI PEI DEATH MATCH! Kris says she's the only person to win the TBS and World titles and the only person to beat Toni and Mercedes and she's out to beat anyone in the future, not the present or past. 

Knight vs. Darby is up and Darby's right arm is taped up to cover burns and he eats a monkey flip right into the ropes and sells the leg. ASAI MOONSAULT OFF THE BARRICADE BY KNIGHT! DEADMAN DIVE LARIAT ON THE RAMP BY KNIGHT! COAST TO COAST TREE OF WOE DROPKICK AND THE UFO SPLASH WINS IT! Excellent! FTR hype vid and a Kingston video hyping up Shibata vs. Kingston. Claudio vs. OC is up and OC eats a beating and CLAUDIO DOES STRONG CLAUDIO THINGS with a pair of easy lift gutbusters. Cassidy avoids the Neutralizer but Claudio avoids the Break but THE ORANGE PUNCH HITS after the swing! POP-UPPERCUT TURNED INTO A DDT! BEACH BREAK HITS FOR THE W...NO 2.9! RUNNING UPPERCUT OF DEATH WNS IT! OH SHIT CLAUDIO VS MOX NEXT WEEK!

Death Riders come out and Mox can barely move and Renee asks Claudio how it feels to be in every C2 before OC eats a beating from the group before Roddy is out! Dorada and the DCF and Jet Speed fight to close us out. MOONSAULT BLOCK FROM DORADA TO THE FLOOR! 

SNME Pack Hits WWE 2K25

 

WWE 2K25 has delivered some pretty killer DLC overall and includes the highest amount of new MyFaction content to date as well, while the new Island mode enabled current-gen console players to enjoy Goldberg and Nikki Bella DLC. This final mainline DLC pack brings about several debuts for the series, including Tito Santana, Sid Justice, Jesse "The Body" Ventura, The Junkyard Dog, and "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff. Sid, under his Sycho Sid act, was last featured in 2K19 while everyone else is new for the 2K era of the franchise. The inclusion of Orndorff in particular is great to see since he's been under-represented across the board is games given what a big star he was.

While it has been somewhat lost to time, Orndorff's feud with Hogan was such a big draw that it led to The Big Event in Toronto being a stadium-level sellout - the first in company history. This gave the company the confidence it needed to set WrestleMania III in the Pontiac Silverdome and that begat the era we're in now that started with WrestleMania being a stadium-level show that has expanded to all of their major PPV/PLE shows. Orndorff's WWF run was shorter than it may appear - with him spending about four years there, but truly maximizing his time there after being a major star in Georgia and especially a big push as North American Champion in Mid-South feuding with Ted DiBiase.


He would retire in 1988 and run a bowling alley before returning to the Herb Abrams UWF and get a Smoky Mountain Wrestling run with Jim Cornette and Rick Rubin's regional promotion that was so well-received he would get a run in WCW off of it and he had a fantastic undercard run there. Surprisingly, he never faced Hogan during his WCW tenure despite their SNME steel cage match being a legendary encounter in that show's history and one of WWE's greatest cage matches ever. His in-ring career largely ended at the end of 1995 and he became one of WCW's most-revered trainers in the Power Plant.

Jesse "The Body" Ventura is probably the worst big-name pro wrestler ever whose career was largely carried by his promo work and AWA team with Adrian Adonis. His promos were so good that fans would cut the AWA TV show up into just the promo work because it was a territory known for great talkers like Jesse and Mad Dog Vachon alongside Bobby Heenan and Nick Bockwinkel, but the in-ring work outside of Bockwinkel and the High Flyers tag team was largely poor. Jesse's East-West Connection team with Adonis was one of the company's best teams ever and Adonis carried the in-ring while Jesse hyped the bouts up.

Jesse's in-ring days were largely winding down due to blood clots right as he was getting into a Hogan feud in WWE, but he would step in the ring a few times to help cement Randy Savage as a star of the future and technically came out of retirement for a match against the Orient Express as a part of a Tag Team buddy cop pilot with Roddy Piper. Outside of wrestling, he became the Governer of Minnesota and has been a regular podcast and TV presence while also being proud of his work in the Navy SEALs before they were the SEALs proper. He made a deal in the last couple of years to rejoin the fray in WWE with new merchandise and with that one-year deal ending, this could be the only time Jesse gets into a game - although I hope we do get a game with both he and Adonis playable together.

AEW Dynamite and Collision 11-19-25

This is a pretty loaded pre-PPV lineup with Shibata vs. Hangman and a strong top to bottom card. Ricochet vs Lashley starts off for the top spot in the casino gauntlet for the National title. Ricochet talks shit and won't shut up so Lashley just chokeslams him over onto the goons. Toa gets POUNCED over the barricade! Eye rake into a spirit gun, BUT HE'S CAUGHT into a chokeslam and the spear wins it! All-action! Joe can't attack Hangman on commentary or he'll lose the PPV shot and Shibata will end him! Joe is a better promo than the Google Translate gimmick.

SKYFLIGHT faces Josh and the Bucks and Don chats them up about giving them HIS PATENTED INTRO and they'll answer Don after the match. Ex talks about Top Flight getting a shot in Jacksonville due to them sending the Bucks their stuff and getting a slot there. Cool flippy shit leads to Josh low-bridging Sky and draping dropkicking him off the apron! Dante springs out of a BTE TRIGGER AND BONKS THE BUCKS TOGETHER! Springboard crossbody to Josh gets 2! Bucks get a win and now THE WORLD IS WATCHING! 

Don 'reminds' them of what he's done for them and it's clear they hate him and he threatens them and HERE COMES KENNY! Josh clips Kenny's knee and they get an ankle lock on before Don has him break the hold SO THE BUCKS CAN ATTACK KENNY! BUT JACK AND LUCHASAURUS SAVE with a shovel and A VACUUM!? Sure why not. Harley's giant tits and Willow chat with Renee and they pay tribute to Bob Caudle with Tony o

Shelton vs. Bailey is up for the second spot in the casino gauntlet. Deja vu victory roll into a Backlund Bridge by Bailey for 2. Cross armbar by Bailey! Bailey hits a suicide dive but gets caught and SLAMMED HARD! Shelton wins off a superkick shoot connecting too hard and rocking him and it's Hurt Syndicate squaring off at the PPV for a little bit. Backstage, Mox and Claudio get fired up by Marina! 

OC and Roddy against Claudio and Mox is up and OC gets a stundog on Claudio! Claudio tosses OC around and hits a barricade uppercut! Paradigm to roddy gets 2 when OC saves but the bulldog choke wins it over OC after FOUR DEATH RIDERS! Mina and Toni have matching big gear now. Riho runs up with WINDSAH and hits a crossbody on the pile. Toni gets 2 off a DDT and Ex brings up her needing a win here after this losing skid. Assisted tornillo gets 2 for Mina! Superkick party for Mina gets 2! Superkick party to Mina...shouldn't Mina and Toni have a move called the superkink party? Figure four turned over but Toni and WINDSAH clonking headbutt each other and fall to break the figure four up! Well that's a new one! Russian legsweep into a basement lariat to Toni gets 2! Storm Zero wins it! The TIMELESS LOVE BOMBS have a great name. 

Fletcher and Mark are backstage and Kyle says he's out to have the most defenses in a single reign beating him. Wow he's done a lot of defenses in a short time. Hechi and Okada jump Mark and Don says he'll make Mark's family orphans! PROTOKADA! PAC ISSUES A COMPETITION WITH NO GIMMICKS against Darby, who is all BELLS AND WHISTLES. Hopefully Darby wins with either a bell or a whistle. Hanger jumps Shibata, much to Joe's chagrin. PK CAUGHT by hanger! GERMAN BY SHIBATA and it looked a bit off-timed but worked before a cross armbar. BUCKSHOT WINS IT!

That closes out Dynamite and Collision starts with a Hanger promo and he brings up Joe's poncho when he was on commentary before. NOW JOE'S ALONE and he sent Hobbs to a hospital and Shibata to a something muted. FTR says that Full Gear is their legacy. Bayne and Shafir are out and just chuck TayJay around. V trigger to Bayne elads to a Perfect necksnap by Jay to get 2 and Bayne wins. Toni says they'll win titles and threaten goofy shit like apartment wrestling! Kris gets a hype video around FOCUS ON ME for Mone.

Dorada vs. Okada is up with the winner getting a shot at the loser's belt. Dorada hits a suicide dive, but misses a 450. RAINMAKER! FALLING ELBOW TO DORADA and it feels like a Dorada win is coming. THAT GODDAMN DROPKICK HITS after the elbow off the top. GORGEOUS 450 HITS FOR 2 FOR DORADA! 

OH GOD OH JESUS A RANA OFF THE TOP INTO A POWERBOMB! FUCK! Flash cradle gets 2 for Dorada! Raging fire by Okada and THE RAINMAKER WINS IT! DCF faces SkyTeam for the trios titles on THE TAILGATE BRAWL! Wow! Okada, Hechi and TAKESHITA! THIS IS FINE! OKADA IS FINE WITH THIS!

Skye and Julia cut boring, not Wednesday Addams and Thekla promises sick and twisted shit. Okay good because the faux-Wednesday stuff isn't working for them. Kris is out for the Velvet vs. CEO match and we get dueling belts here with one on red leather and the other on black. The red pops more. Velvet high kick misses and CROSSFACE BY MONE! COMPRESSION SHORT ARMSCISSORS - basically an arm slicer! AVALANCHE VICTORY ROLL BY VELVET GETS 2! Mone maker wins it and KRIS GETS LOCKED IN THE CROSSFACE!

AEW Collision 11-15-25

 

Full Gear is a week away and SCORPIO SKY HELD THE TNT TITLE TWICE!? Mark Davis vs. Mark Briscoe is up and we get a B/G recap and yeah this a bring-down show from that whole night of insanity. Pac, Yuta and Danny are here are to face Lethal, Adam Priest and DK but FIRST DANNY FIGHTS WITH DADDY MAGIC! Mox hops on headsets thank God. Priest is in DK's boring gear which...yeah nah just do the long white tights and blue trunks. This single white stripe stuff was bland IN THE '70s! Lethal with dragon screws aplenty before a figure four on PAC. Brutalizer to Lethal ends it.

Mox is great on commentary saying Pac's voice is very soothing and Pac challenges Darby and I bet Pac wins that to set up him as a verbal leader when Mox is exiled. Mox is here TO HANG OUT! YES I'M SO GLAD I WATCHED TONIGHT! Toni chats about being FORCED TO WATCH A MASSACRE and anyone who attacks her love, a woman who gives color to a black and white world, they will take anyone out anytime and any place! 

Davis is backstage with Kyle and boy has Kyle just eclipsed him and MARK VS. MARK IS UP and THIS MARK SUCKS when Davis is on offense. CHOPS APLENTY! FLYING FOREARM BY BRISCOE! Suplex by Davis into a Briscoe cradle for 2. FROGGY BOW MEETS THE KNEES. Briscoe goes into a chair to rest and eats a hip attack against the barricade. Briscoe gets crotched resulting in "he might be built differently after that" by Nigel and "Thank God he's got so many kids already" from Mox.

Josh Alexander snaps the ankle of a man shaped like Michael Nakazawa who Tony has to act is shocked is Nakazawa. MXM TV is out for a challenge and Taya and HER GIANT HAT face Tay Melo and the Tay-KO wins it. Mox - "THE SMOTHER CHOKE! Some guys pay good money for that - but it's not pleasant, trust me!" Toni jumps Marina after she jumps Tay and it's going to be interesting to see how the women's tag tourney goes. Hobbs-Hanger recap. 

Fletcher vs. Scorpio Sky is up and it's been 1,200 days since Sky has been champion and...yeah that don't help him feeling old and as a part of the distant past. Maybe they can make the ROH National TV Title or something for him to hold. Slingshot apron cutter by Sky! Boot brainbuster win.

Riho and WINDSOR beat the girls who came in last week and maximized their minutes. FTR and LFI against Bandido, Juice and JetSpeed! Dash hits a nice powerslam on Bailey before A FLOATING LARIAT by Knight. 21 plex to Rush and RUSH JOBS!?
