AEW Dynamite 12-31-25 - New Year's Smash

 

New Year's Smash is a pretty loaded overall lineup when it comes to card quality and MJF starts off with a promo. MJF brings back the Triple B and he cuts the same promo he always did as a heel before KENNY OMEGA IS SHOWN and he wants one last run at the gold. Joe sets up Hook vs. Hangman and Swerve vs. Hobbs and maybe we'll get a trios. 

Wacky Conglomeration stuff before the Not Mixed Nuts Mayhem trios match is up with the Death Riders against the Sorta-Conglomeration. Torndo trios! Lights Out is made for HangSwerve against Hook and Hobbs. BOLO CORNER PUNCH and OC is proud and puts his hands up BEFORE GETTING LOCKED IN A FULL NELSON but his pockets save him! DEATH RIDERS OFFER UP A STOMPERING! GROUND URANAGE BY CLAUDIO! UPPERCUT HITS AND WINS IT before Marina flips off everyone.

Bandido vs. Mortos is up and Bandido hits a nice cape dive off the to the floor! Tilt a whirl Atlantis backbreaker by Mortos! Torture rack knee and the 21 plex win it. Mox vs. Josh is up and Mone vs. Willow main events. Brody hypes up Bandido 2 belts next week and he gets the first shot. BIG SHOTTY LEE is here for a standby match with Brody King. Shotty starts off quick, but eats a cannonball and ganso bomb to lose. 

Mox vs. Josh starts off with Mox selling the leg from the PPV and Josh working it over and tossing him over the top landing on it. APRON WORLDS STRONGEST SLAM BY JOSH! MOONSAULT MISSES FOR JOSH! Tope suicida by Mox! DIVING KNEE TO THE KNEE BY JOSH! Josh grinds the leg, but a death rider wins it! MVP AND SHELTON ARE OUT! Perry vs. SHOWSOMELOVEFOR Ricochet is up! Goons help and Ricochet wins it with the spirit gun and Luchasaurus' arm is destroyed before and now again with the guardrail. BLINDSIDE SPIRIT GUN BY RICOCHET! Mox talks about the Syndicate and we get Brody chatting him up.

POUNCE starts off Willow vs. Mone with Mercedes countering a suplex on the desk to one OFF OF IT! Danielson elbows into the crossface! Mercedes goes for her goofy finish but it's countered into an SOS for 2.5! BABES WITH THE POWEROMB IS THE BABE WITH TWO BELTS! KRIS AND WILLOW HUG!

AEW Worlds End 2025 - 12-27-25

 

Coming off the greatest Collision of all-time and one of the best wresting shows you'll ever see, AEW is back with Worlds End. Hayter vs. Kris is hyped up nicely in the video and Renee hypes up the title matches.  Zero Hour is...content for the library I guess. Cole offers predictions that are kind of lost audio-wise amongst the panel's audio being kept in. 

Hyan and Maya World are out to face the Sisters of Sin. Hyan gets a mat return to start and Maya shines with a rollthrough into a double stomp on Julia for 2. Sisters hit the wacky Magic Killer-ish thing to win. Kingston beats Gibson quickly with the DDT before Drake attacks and Ortiz saves - so maybe they get the ROH tags or something. OKADA VS. TAKESHITA OPENS THE PPV! Rocky and Davis are out for a match that ROMERO COULD WIN! They face Bandido and Dorada...okay maybe not. 

Davis tackles Bandido down and gets a senton too. Dorada comes in and hits a springboard crossbody. Davis tosses Dorada into a PK by Rocky on the floor. DAVIS BARRICADE CRASHES BANDIDO! Dorada gets caught off a crossbody and a BANDIDO TORNILLO MID-RING SENDS THEM DOWN! 21 plex wins it for Bandido and a Clon video airs. Jurassic Express and JetSpeed face The Demand and Josh Alexnder. Jack gets jumped and Kaun hits a running suplex on Jack on the ramp! Jack was so over coming out as a face too.

JE is taken out and Ricochet is standing by the ramp to ensure they're out for good. Luchasaurus comes back to their theme and JACK IS BACK TOO AND A ONE ARM CHOKESLAM TO RICOCHET and Jack hits the knee and wins it! Jack vs. Ricochet for the National Title would be fun. Glad to see them get their own direction now. Danielson comes out and he's just so aww shucks. Takeshita vs. Okada starts off and the color is just wonky on Max now - it was fine for free shows in Dynamite and Collision and this was the first PPV I bought on it and yeah it shouldn't be like this.

Tieup to start and they tackle mid-ring. Back and forth forearms and Okada hits a DDT. Well, the color is still wonky but I'll try and get a refund because this isn't winning me over for Max PPV. TONS OF FOREARMS AFTER A TOPE! EUROPEAN UPPERCUT OF DEATH BY OKADA! BULL HAMMER ELBOW BY TAKESHITA! ROLLING GERMANS BY OKADA! OKADA HITS A SCREWDRIVER SHOT AND WINS IT!? Well that's...a story match I guess. Hard to call that anything but disappointing.

Fletcher vs. Moxley is up and Fletcher works the leg over on the floor by trapping the bad leg into the steps and dropkicking it. HALF CRAB BY KYLE and an APRON BRAINBUSTER BY FLETCHER TO MOX! Fletcher wants a countout win and he barely comes in at 9.9! TORTURE HALF-CRAB BY FLETCHER but Mox won't tap! MOX GETS A BULLDOG CHOKE AS A COUNTER! ANKLE LOCK WITH A GRAPEVINE BY FLETCHER! MOX CHANTS BREAK OUT before a Fletcher facewash. RNC UP TOP GETS A 4 COUNT FOR MOX! AVALANCHE HALF NELSON SUPLEX BY MOX! RUNNING KNEE HITS MOX FOR 1! SHEER DROP HITS FOR 2.9! 

STANDING LARIAT OF DEATH BY KYLE HITS! He wants the screwdriver BUT IT'S GONE! Paradigm, Death Rider get 2.9 and THE RNC IS ON! AND KYLE'S OUT!? Wow - I liked that a ton - way better than Okada vs. Takeshita. FLETCHER TAKES HIS KNEE OUT WITH A CHOP BLOCK and man is this a fantastic one-night babyface story for Moxley. FTR vs. BBG is up for the gold in a Chicago street fight. This is every goofy street fight except for Austin wearing a trash can like a turtle shell for a corner attack - so that's a new one! DAX PILEDRIVER ON A TRASHCAN GETS 2.9!  Stuff piledriver on the belt wins it!

Womens tag title time and we've got a dollar sign table instead of a bunch of guys holding the belts - which is a big money-saver on airfare and it looks better. Willow saves Harley off a slam by getting a spear and Mone gets the meteora for 2. YOKOSUKA CUTTER-ish thing by Athena to WILLOW sorta gets 2. PPPOUNCE to Athena! BURNING HAMMER TO MONE BY WILLOW GETS 2! Mone maker hits Harley but Willow wants the doctor bomb but no, an SOSCradle wins it! 

Gabe vs. Darby is up and Gabe just beats the everloving fuck of Darby on the floor with clubs and then a shot into the steps slicing his face up. Tony points out a back scar that Darby got in Sting's retirement match. HE HITS A SAMOA JOE STAIRCASE DROPKICK OFF THE TOP TO THE FLOOR! Gabe is sliced up and he's hit a gusher and he just beats the fuck out of him and EATS A CODE RED OFF THE TOP for 2 and a COFFIN DROP! SCORPION DEATHLOCK TO KIDD but Darby releases it due to the blood loss! KAMIGOYE HEADBUTTS BY KIDD! JUMPING PILEDRIVER HITS! Gabe clubs away but puts himself into a position that Darby can use the Bret sleeper counter to win! 

Death Riders are out and Ex hypes up the ring crew for cleaning up all the blood already. OC AND MARINA DO POCKETS ACTION and OC backdrops her over the top! MARINA BEATS UP HER HUSBAND! HIP ATTACK TO MARINA! Toni and OC dance into a spinning backfist on Marina! ASSALANCHE IN THE CORNER MISSES and the ring somehow doesn't move. LEAPING MONGOLIAN CHOP BY TONI! PARADE OF GERMANS BY TONI TO THE DEATH RIDER GOONS! Tornado DDT TO CLAUDIO BY TONI! TONI EATS A GIANT SWING! RODDY KNEE TO CLAUDIO AND IT'S RODDY VS. MARINA! orange punch to Danny! Wedgie hip attack by Toni and the Jay Driller win it!

Mone has a breakdown and destroys a $200 TV and a mirror before being "ready" for the interview. "Willow, AT NEW YEARS SMASH, I'M GONNA BEAT YOUR FUCKING ASS!" Hayter vs. Kris is up and Kris' presentation is too cute by one. The trenchcoat is gigantic and the COSMIC KILLER bands are barely readable. Quick attempt at a Hayterade is met with a crunchy tombstone countered too. Ushigoroshi and a sliding lariat get 2 for Hayter! AVALANCHE KI KRUSHER TO HAYTER!  HOLY SHIT! SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER FROM HAYTER TO STAT! DESPARATION SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER FROM STAT WINS IT - that got really good! 

Perry vs. Ricochet for the National Title is made for Dynamite and Willow vs. Mone as well! Mox vs. Okada time! Callis hypes up Okada and says it's Okada vs. Moxley in the finals and Okada will get revenge for him being stood up on Dynamite a few weeks ago. Mox cuts a great dramatic promo with his mouth all bashed up. Reminds me of Austin winning KOTR with a stiched-up lip and we get an epic Justin Roberts intro with Mox out as THE babyface.

Okada kicks the knee on the floor after eating some chops. Okada dominates with DDTs on the floor and mid-ring before PAYING HOMAGE TO TANAHASHI HIS GREATEST RIVAL with a dragon screw and the cloverleaf! PARADIGM SHIFT AND A RAINMAKER AND ANOTHER PARADIGM SHIFT GETS 2! CURB STOMP TO OKADA! DEATH RIDER HITS AND WE HAVE A NEW CONTINENTAL CHAMPION! The Death Riders celebrate in the same gear akin to Mox turning on Danielson and Mox cuts a pure babyface promo and he has the Death Riders surrounding him ala them all surrounding Bryan. 

Swerve's out in Green Lantern gear looking pretty cool and after Joe gets his arm kicked out, we get SWERVE VERSUS HANGER AGAIN WITH SWERVE HITTING A DEADEYE! BUCKSHOT GETS 2 WHEN JOE RUNS IN! TOWER OF DOOM WITH MJF CATCHING GUYS. SWERVE GETS A ROLLING THUNDER FLATLINER TO MJF after escaping the muscle buster! Powerbomb into a powerslam by Swerve gets 2! MJF slings Hanger into for a cutter for 2 but the Fujiwara is on! SWERVE'S IN THE CLUTCH!

Max saves BUT GETS LOCKED IN THE CLUTCH and his arm goes down for 2 before Swerve saves! Swerve/Hanger big boot knocks down MJF, but Joe absorbs it, eats a tornado kick/discus elbow from hanger and THEN THEY TAKE EACH OTHER OUT! PANAMA SUNRISE BY MJF GETS 2! THE OPPS ARE OUT! MUSCLE BUSTER TO HANGER GETS 2.9! SWERVE STOMP TO THE FLOOR ON THE PILE! Can we never do that again plz? SWERVE STOMP TO JOE! They fight up top and Joe wants a superplex BUT EATS A RUNNING POWERBOMB!

SWERVE STOMP off the top but MJF knocks him into the announce table. BUCKSHOT! TWO! THREE TO JOE! NO! MJF LOW BLOWS HIM! HEATSEEKER TO JOE AND MJF WINS THE TITLE! That may have been the best four-way match ever and managed to be memorable on a pretty stacked card. They set up two challengers within this one match too as Swerve and Hangman didn't lose. 

AEW Christmas Collision 2025

 

The show starts off with a pretty epic video package of the tourney and last night's show and it's starting off strong with Kyle vs. Jack, with Kyle working over the leg before a chop exchange after Kyle works the knee over on the rope. Running rana by Jack turned into a Storm-level smooth half-crab! Knee-DT and then more grinding on the ankle before a MASSIVE knife-edge chop in the corner by Kyle! RANA TO THE FLOOR BY BY PERRY! Another one off the apron leads to an APRON POWERBOMB BY KYLE!

Delayed suplex attempt by Kyle but JACK BITES HIS TITTY and Kyle traps Jack's foot in against the post with the steps! WHEELBARROW BULLDOG BY JACK! Delayed sheer drop brainbuster on the ramp! Corner boot and the top rope brainbuster BUT A SUNSET BOMB BY JACK HITS! SNARE TRAP IS ON AND KYLE'S OUT but NO HE GETS THE ROPE!

Running boot sets up the sitout last ride BUT IT'S TURNED INTO A DESTROYER and a piledriver hits for 2.9 for PERRY! Flash victory roll gets 2 for Kyle and a rebounder that hit last night MEETS A LARIAT TONIGHT BY KYLE! CORNER HIGH KICK AND THE SHEER DROP WIN IT! This ruled and Kyle yet again has one of the best matches in the tournament. It's amazing that with his rise, I don't miss Ospreay or Omega yet. Roddy and KOR chat and Kyle says that there's doubt when there's never been doubt before and THE CONGOLERATION IS HIS FRIENDS TOO AND IT'S CHRISTMAS! 

OH MY GOD AND NOW IT'S A TAKESHITA MATCH and it's against Dorada! Run-up armdrag by Dorada is met with a catch blue thunder bomb for 2.5! Poison rana to Take and then a destroyer BUT A SNAP LARIAT HITS DORADA FOR 2! Leg trap tombstone gets 2.5 by Take before Dorada cradles him for 2.5! PK HITS FOR DORADA! AVALANCHE LARIAT! RUNNING KNEE AND THE RAGING FIRE WINS IT! That was a better speed-style match but I'd put Perry-Fletcher above it. 

Roddy vs. Claudio is up and lordy, this show has already outpaced WWE PLEs in terms of great matches and it's only had 2! DARTH CLAUDIO IS HERE and Roddy is motivated and lands a big knee after a chain of uppercuts in the corner! JUMPING KNEE WITHOUT THE KNEEPAD FLASH KNOCKOUT WIN FOR RODDY! WOW! Briscoe's out and TONI BEATS UP MARINA! Toni and her gigantic ass dance. Hayter vs. Kris is hyped in thankfully video package form.

KEVIN KNIGHT VS. PAC TOO!? Goddamn this C2 is more loaded than most G1s have been since COVID. Pac sends him into the corner hard but KNIGHT GETS THE SPRINGBOARD LARIAT TO THE FLOOR! POP UP RANA TO PAC BY KNIGHT! UFO HITS FOR 2.5! Hammerstein rings out with a KEVIN KNIGHT chant and this feels like a match where his stock is rising yet again. Knight gets tossed OVER THE TOP BY AN OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY AND OVER THE TOP POST TO THE FLOOR - unreal! That's like a Fire Pro bump off an overhead belly to belly! 

RAGING LARIAT by Pac is countered by a GODDAMN DROPKICK BY KNIGHT and the springboard lariat by Knight! Knight goes for a run-up the apron move but EATS A SNAP GERMAN! MEGASTAR SUPERPLEX BY KNIGHT AND FOREARM SHIVERS ON THE MAT! HELLUVA KICK BY PAC! LARIAT HITS WITH A MINUTE LEFT BY PAC FOR 2.9! BLACK ARROW MEETS THE KNEES FOR 2.9 AND A SLEW OF CRADLES! THE BRUTALIZER IS ON BUT THE TIME LIMIT EXPIRES - each man gets 1 point. Goddamn what a show! 

Possibly two five-star matches on the show between Fletcher vs. Perry and Pac vs. Knight there - unreal, this is the first time in a long time where this wrestling-heavy run for AEW hasn't burned me out of getting the PPV. I'm thirsty for more great wrestling due to the C2. And now Gabe Kidd yammers on about body bags and clowns. Darby fucks around mid-ring with him. Hyan and Maya World are out with A JOLLY THEME and tron and face the Babes of Wrath! I hope their theme is called "No Hard Feelings". Cannonball on the floor by Willow and Hyan and World face the Sisters of Sin on the Zero Hour. BACKPACK SENTON BY THE BABES OF WRATH GETS 2! Sole Food and an inverted Angle Slam win it. We get happy comedy until Willow says they need to beat the shit out of Athena and Mone! 

Mox vs. OC is up! Mox bullies him around ringside after his early attempt at a Gotch piledriver fails. The X Plex is turned into a stundog by OC and HE RAKES MOX'S BACK! FOREARM EXCHANGE HITS FOR EACH! ORANGE PUNCH HITS! Great bit where Nigel says that the pockets are where OC gets his power and loose change. SUICIDE DIVE BY OC! DDT OFF A GUARDRAIL THROUGH A TABLE AND THE RINGBELL! ORANGE PUNCH but the rebound lariat hits BUT MOX CAN'T FOLLOW UP! GOTCH PILEDRIVER FINALLY HITS FOR 2.9! HALF CRAB BY OC! TWO ORANGE PUNCHES AND THE BEACH BREAK GETS 2.9! HALF CRAB IS ON AGAIN! Mox CRADLES HIM AND WINS IT! WOW!

OH MY GOD SPEEDBALL VS. OKADA IS THE MAIN EVENT! And now I've got frozen video and audio playing on Max, so that's just awesome. Tony bringing up the possibilities of JUST THIS MATCH'S RESULT are incredible. MIXED NUTS MAYHEM coming to Saturday with Toni and the Conglomeration against the Death Riders. Okada gets a neckbreaker and Tony brings up that Okada winning the tourney allows hm to retain his Continental title and Unified title. 2017 NJPW forearm exchange time! Okada wants KICKS TO THE CHEST and gets them which pisses off Don while Nigel brings up it being a part of the bushido spirit. PK hits but the moonsault kneedrop misses. SPRINGBOARD TORNILLO BY BAILEY after Okada rushes in and gets sent outside!  

Spinning roundhouse hits for 2.9 for Bailey! Bailey wants the flamingo driver, but Okada avoids only to eat a gamenguri! Okada forearms him off the second into a tree of woe for a MASSIVE KO tease. Bailey fights up top WITH HEADBUTTS! BAILEY LANDS GROUNDED ELBOWS TO OKADA ON THE FLOOR! ULTIMA WEAPON HITS FOR 2.9! OKADA COUNTERS THE CRADLE THAT BEAT FLETCHER AND IT'S OKADA VS. TAKESHITA ON THE PPV!

 

 

AEW Dynamite on 34th Street 12-24-25

 

It's two back to back nights of C2 action at the Hammerstein. We start off with OC vs. Takeshita! Tons of cradles and a crucifix gets 2.9! HELLUVA KICK TO THE APRON BY TAKESHITA! OC lands corner punches and they bring up that being a risk to break a hand and nix the Orange Punch. Wheelbarrow German into a victory roll by OC gets 2BUT THEN THE WHEELBARROW HITS! ORANGE PUNCH! APRON BEACH BREAK! HELLUVA ON THE BARRICADE MISSES AND AN ORANGE PUNCH SENDS TAKESHITA INTO THE CROWD! 9.9 and he's in! CRADLE CITY FOR 2.9! Takeshita gets the raging fire falcon arrow to win it!

Gabe Kidd cuts a promo on Darby, saying he's been on thin ice and he's going to shatter the ice and he wants him for World's End. PARAGON'S RODERICK STRONG and not the Conglomeration's Roddy Strong is here! Regal stretch by Roddy! SWANTON BY DORADA and the SSP wins it for Dorada and he'll face Takeshita tomorrow. They hype up SI loving AEW and we get some really bad micwork from Kris and better work from Hayter to build their PPV match.

MJF kills Dustin Waller and starts off fast with ground and pound. Basement teabagging by MJF. Waller gets ONE MOVE - an overhand chop and makes it count before eating a slap, hammerlock cradle DDT and the Fujiwara wins it. MJF's chest is raw after ONE CHOP and everyone comes out for a parade of promos in the crowd like TNA's debut show. Joe sends goons out and Swerve and Hangman beat the shit out of MJF and Hanger hangs him before Swerve says he's better than MJF will ever be and he makes everyone, rival or ally better while staring at Hanger.

Babes of Wrath promo before the Dynamite Diamond ring match with Ricochet vs. Bandido, putting the ring on-par with a full-on secondary title. Vertigo hits for 2 for Ricochet. POISON RANA TO RICOCHET! Styles clash-trapping LIGERBOMB BY BANDIDO! Cradle off the spirit gun GETS THE WIN! Brody saves and we go to Darby in a new giant black mink before Gabe kicks his ass. Shafir vs. Mina Shirakawa is up in the most batshit insane match on Earth. Mina hits corner kicks before and Mina knee-DDTs her sorta on the apron while landing on her own knees which seems like it would hurt her more. Brock Lock into a Tajana bomb by Marina! 

Overhand chop by Marina leads to a discus forearm to the face and back of the neck by Mina! Mother's milk wins it and then she does it again after the match giving Toni a chance to come out and a high kick KOs her too! Elite promo backstage and they got the money, but the Bucks aren't cleared for the rest of the year. PAC VS. JACK IS UP!

Jack lands a dropkick and the lunatic fringe elbow! GERMAN BY JACK! superkick and a poison rana by Perry. COMEBACKER LARIAT BY PERRY! Brutalizer is on but a cradle wins it! SANTASAURUS CELEBRATES! They hand out cookies and have a blast - this was a purely fun show and tomorrow has Claudio vs. Roddy! 

AEW Dynamite 12-17-25 C2 in the UK!

 

Roddy vs. Mox is up RIGHT IN THE RING ASAP! Foot stomp and a dragon screw out of the corner by Roddy. Roddy lands a series of chops on the floor starting with a barricade chop that sends him into the crowd! Big forearms to the jaw and a mat return gets 2 for Roddy. RODDY GETS A BACKBREAKER ON THE DIAMONDPLATE STEPS! 

Mox cutter gets 2 and a flash piledriver sets up the RNC and THE ROPES BREAK IT! STRONG HOLD IS ON! Paradigm shift to Roddy! DEATH RIDER HITS FOR THE WIN! Kingston says you never lose, you either win or you learn! Boy does that sum up the last 1+ years. ONE MILLION DOLLAR TRIOS MATCH is up with the DCF against the Elite, and Okada cutting off Take's intro with Hechi ruled! Kenny and Hechi works really well in short bursts and a TRIPLE SUICIDE DIVE BY THE ELITE!

KENNY AND OKADA SLUGFEST! POWER KNEE TO MATT BUT KENNY SAVES OUTTA NOWHERE! RAINMAKER AVOIDED AND KENNY HITS A SNAPDRAGON! TRIPLE SUPEERKICK TO HECHI AND THE OWA HITS A BUCKS ALLEY-OOP FACTOR ASSIST TO WIN and then Okada and Takeshita get into a pissing match with Rainmakers and Raging Fires afterwards on the Bucks! 

We get Tony mid-ring while a trans-flag fan is on-screen and Swerve and Hanger are going to the ring for a contract signing with Joe in a giant green outfit. They rib Joe for his old tribal paint and bicker before MJF RETURNS AND THEY SING HIS SONG! MJF CASHES IN HIS TITLE SHOT FOR WOLRDS END! MJF says he's known Swerve as Shane and when he was 18, he went to AEW and Shane...well didn't. He went to WWE and his run wasn't great - but he enjoyed watching him twerk for Top Dolla! Boy this really got him over and buried everyone else. 

Bayne, Marina, Athena and Mercedes are out to face the Babes of Wrath and the Love Bombs. Sole food to Athena by Harley. Toni hip attacks Marina and a headbutt from Toni sends them into tags to Megan and Willow for A FOREARM EXCHANGE! O FACE TO WILLOW after a cannonball to the floor! Pac AND HIS CHAIR sulk before facing Fletcher. ORIHARA MOONSAULT TO FLETCHER ON THE FLOOR! Standing brutalizer and then the downed one before a rope break. Pac goes up for an arrow, but a kick takes his leg out then the helluva THEN THE SHEER DROP FOR 2.9! AVALANCHA POISON RANA BY PAC! AND THE BLACK ARROW WINS IT!

Dynamite Battle Royal time to set up the ring match next week. SCISSOR ME TIMBERS BY NOT THE ACCLAIMED! Ricochet gets them out after taking out Max and then Bowens. Josh gets eliminated doing an ankle lock to Brody and escaping and then Bandido monkey flips him over! Bandido flips Kaun over with a poison rana and it's Bandido vs. Ricochet next week! Dynamite ends and Mox starts Collision with a promo in a boiler room looking all cool.

OC vs. Mascara Dorada is up in the most random Firepro match imaginable! Pretty crazy fun match with Dorada shining brightly until an orange punch wins it.
