There's not much of a rhyme or reason to watching this episode other than it has Robbie Garvin and Robert Gibson - and I don't remember them ever being in WCCW, so this should be fun.We see Hayes and Steve Cox face the SSTs in Memphis. Hayes drops the fall, but his foot is locked in the ropes. Hayes cuts a promo on Buddy for being an alcoholic and he cuts an intense promo on Lee for telling him to look at the hard camera. Lots of HELL NOs here. Percy introduces Ronnie Garvin to face Black Bart.
Ronnie twists him around on the mat before Bart misses a legdrop and Ronnie wins with a jacknife cradle. A recap of the Kerry-Lawler stuff airs before Robert Gibson faces Tom Jones. They have a sloppy match with Jones hitting a rabbit lariat. Robert reverses a slam into a small package to win. Steve Cox and his amazing mullet yammer for a bit before Kendall Windham talks about Akbar trying to buy him out.
Terry Gordy faces Not Kamala the Botswana Beast. The Beast locks on 50 nerve holds before a brawl breaks out and Gordy gigs. It winds up being a double countout. Gordy talks about breathing down Akbar's neck and he'll do it until he's done with him. A recap video airs of the past few weeks - not a bad show, but nothing too special and MY GOD WAS THE BEAST TERRIBLE.
