AEW has delivered great PPVs, but there's something off about this one. The build has been spotty and the last Dynamite was one of the worst shows in company history period. The pre-show matches aren't much and we start off with the Tooth and Nail match, which is just a sloppy pre-taped match. They brawl around the office and use plunger with a face mask KOing Britt and giving Swole the win. Reba stole the show here taking a beating and being a goofball.
Bucks and Jurassic Express are out for what would have been a better choice for an opener. I love the Bucks just being assholes throughout this, including attacking Marko after he goes and pulls Nick off the apron. Locomotion northern lights into an over the top suplex doesn't go smoothly, but Luchasaurus lands a nice Chokeslam on Nick. Big dive from Vibora to the pile and the BTE trigger takes out Jungle Jack.
Casino battle royal was better than the first one, but not as good as the All In battle royal 2 years ago. I think this match is better served on a pre-show, especially with the mystery entrant. Sydal was the mystery guy and came in with an SSP that he slipped on and thankfully just landed on the back of his head and back. Kingston win is teased, but Lance choke tosses him onto the pile to win it. Best part of this was Darby taking out guys but being taken out with a running bodybag powerbomb WITH TAGS to the ramp.
The broken rules match is a last man standing match in the stadium. Sammy tries to run Matt over with a golf cart, but misses. Matt DDTs him and they fight on a scissor lift. Sammy spears him off it through a "merch table" and Matt's head smashes on the concrete. He's out and it's not the finish, so Aubrey's not counting. Matt tries to stand and Sammy helps him up...which maybe you don't do during this to end the count and then Matt just stumbles even with Sammy holding him up. Great, just have him risk another concussion there. They tease a finish with Doc Sampson, but Matt I guess convinces him to let it go on and it does and they climb a lighting truss because yeah, that's a thing Matt should do and a punch sends Sammy through a "stage" that couldn't hold an action figure up and he wins it.
Women's title is up. Double legdrop is met with a stretch muffler by Shida! Falcon arrow barely gets 1 for Shida! Tonashi knee ends it for Shida. Great showing for Rosa, and a perfect follow-up to the clusterfuck before it. Kip and Penelope talk about getting married on AEW Dynamite and they need a bachelor party and a best man that he'll reveal as THE BEST MAN on Wednesday. Dark Order vs. Cody's Crew tag match is up. I like Colt just being wacky Colt in this cult.
Nice work with Brodie just pummeling dudes. Brandi pump kicks Anny Jay out of the ring. Sky TKOs Stu and Uno saves. Radio Silence hits and a second rope one does too, but no cover which JR buries him for. Brodie hits him with a powebromb off of it and QT and Colt go at it and Colt misses the corner big apple and QT hits a dive and the Smash Bros hit the lunging powerbomb before a black hole slam hits for Brodie and Colt superfly dives onto QT for 2.
Dustin and Brodie go at it and slug it out before Brodie takes him out with discus lariat and Colt goes up and misses a moonsault. Dustin gets a schoolboy and wins it! COLT HAS DRAWN THE IRE OF BRODIE LEE. I don't know what this is going to lead to, but it's going to be great. Brodie is pissed at Colt and yells at him with Uno offering Colt a hand. CHARACTER WORK between Colt and Uno - I love it. TONY AND DUSTIN CHATTING. I love it. Dustin says they did this all for Cody and TONY KHAN TELLS US that Dustin faces Brodie Lee for the TNT Title on Dynamite. This is tremendous stuff. Dustin wants it to prove he can put gold around his waist again.
TAG TITLE TIME with FTR and Tully out in red and white looking like the Brainbusters. Tully's even out in his ostrich shoes from when he was in the Horsemen. Page is out in new long cowboy tights to show some unity with Kenny. Page atomic drops Dax into a Cash tag and Dax reverse bearhugs Page for a bit. HANGMAN ROLLS OFF THE APRON AND GETS A LARIAT ON DAX! POWERPLEX GETS 2 FOR FTR. Page prevents the Goodnight Express, but Dax lands a brainbuster to Kenny before Page hits a basement lariat. REVERSE RANA FROM KENNY TO CASH! Tiger Driver '98 hits for 2!
APRON DRAGON SCREW BY Dax and then another into the ring before locking on a trailer hitch using the ropes. Nice little story being told here of Kenny being a ball hog throughout this. Kenny shoves Dax off but in doing so, he knocks Page off the apron. SLINGSHOT CLOTHESLINE TO DAX and Page catches Cash and hits the fallaway slam and then slingshots onto Dax on the floor. Tully moves his guys out of the path of a moonsault off the top, so Page standing swantons onto them!
DOUBLE DIVING HEADBUTTS FROM FTR ala the Bulldogs gets 2. Alley oop bulldog from FTR to Kenny on the floor. Great stuff here! BLOCKBUSTER SUPLEX BY PAGE OFF THE TOP GETS 2. Chopblock to Kenny and the Mind Breaker hits for 2! Another spike piledriver ends it and FTR wins the gold. They put a generic beer near Page and Kenny grabs a wooden chair. They put a generic beer near Page and Kenny grabs a wooden chair and teased attacking Page but Page collapses and Omega doesn't catch him and then tosses a cheap beer down and JR says that's a waste of a 25 cent beer. Kenny walks backstage and talks shit about Page before telling the Bucks to leave with him. They go and it feels like Kenny's leading them into an ambush. He wants to go into his slick black stretch SUV and they opt to not leave with him.
It's time for mimosa mayhem and Jericho is with Alex Marvez in his crazy jacket. Tony says that Doc Sampson cleared Matt DURING THE MATCH. We get a walk and brawl near the pit and Jericho crashes him through a nearby bubbly table. Jericho pushes OC's face into the mimosa. Jericho doing TNA Jeff Jarrett specials is so much worse than literally every other version of Jericho we've seen in his career. Triangle dropkick hits, but OC doesn't go in and sunset flips him for 2 before getting a Michinoku driver for 2.5. Stundog Millionaire hits for OC and he fires up for the revolving door DDT, but Jericho gets the walls.
OC escapes AND HITS THE SUPERMAN PUNCH. Jericho rolls out and slugs it out with OC on the buckle. REVOLVING DOOR DDT HITS FOR 2.9. Codebreaker hits for Jericho and gets 2.9 on that one. Jericho goes to lawndart him into the mimosa, but OC wraps himself up and Jericho wants a splash mountain into hte vat. ORANGE PUNCH HITS AND JERICHO HANGS ON! A SECOND ONE SENDS HIM IN AND JERICHO LOVES THE MIMOSA! This was boring, but the right man won. Full Gear is back for November 7.
MJF is out with a moon landing tron while Mox walks down the steps of the TIAA Bank Field and then walks into Daily's Place with a fan touching him. And Mox, to his credit, just rolls with it. Tony talks about MJF being on the Rosie 'O Donnell show at 8 and he's waited for this moment since then - and now it's here. MJF's gear reminds me of Gulak's terrible American flag gear. They don't scream main eventer. MJF takes him down with a headlock takeover and Mox misses a snap elbow. They brawl and MJF gets atomic drop crotched on the barricade. Mox stares down Wardlow, who looks so great in this modern-day Batista role. Wardlow is being low-key built up as their Batista 2005-era babyface with a slow burn.
MJF yanks Mox's arm off the apron and stomps the hand. Ex talks about the MRSA infection in the arm to dovetail things nicely. MJF tackles Moxley into the barricade and Mox goes back in and tries to pop his shoulder back in on the corner. MJF hits the floor and sliced open. Mox gets an X plex for 2, Mox wants a Gotch piledriver, but the arm gives out. Mox black hole slams him on the floor!
GOTCH DRIVER HITS FOR 2.9! MJF hits a gorgeous double stomp on the draped arm over the rope. They go back and forth on slaps with Mox going for the jaw and MJF going for slaps to the arm. Gotta say, MJF needed to have a match that showed he could be THE GUY and he's having that now. Mox gets spit on and wants the Shift, but the ref tells him he can't and MJF GETS THE FUJIWARA! MJF loses that, but gets a wrist grapevine, but Mox gets the rope and MJF is pissed.

Wardlow throws the ring in and distracts the ref, so Mox hits the paradigm shift behind his back and wins it! Mox does a great Yano impression after the win.
