Jim starts the show off saying THEY'RE OBSERVING ALL THE RULES...so here's some roster folks without masks. Best Friends jump PNP before the bell. Trent dives off the stage onto them. Ex is back and we've got just mayhem all over. Chuck makes a chair fort and gets tossed into it. Ortiz gutwrenches Trent. Sole Food to Santana and the falcon arrow gets 2. Trent tags in and gets a busaiku knee. TACKLE ON THE APRON RESULTS IN TRENT HITTING THE STEPS. Save that for PPV. Jesus. Crunchy to Ortiz, but Santana puts his foot on the rope. Baton to the back and the street sweeper ends it.
Mox vs. Mark Sterling is hyped up while MJF cuts a promo and Lee tells him that Mark locked himself in his room. MJF has Wardlow kick the door in and we see Mark with an all-grey head of hair and MJF threatens him with a wood chipper. Is it really wise to threaten to send a lawyer into a wood chipper? Bucks and the Jurassic Express face Private Party and SCU with the winning teams facing each other at the PPV.
Nick round kicks CD off an atomic drop attempt. Kaz lands a spinning wheel kick to Jack. Flapjack/bulldog combo to Jack by Private Party. Vibora takes out Private Party with a double lariat and moonsaults onto CD on the floor. DOUBLE STANDING MOONSAULTS AND SUPERFLY DIVES! Rebound lariat by Jack hits, but SCU hits a double team blue thunder/neckbreaker. SSP by Quen gets 2 on Jack when Vibora saves. Back suplex into a Liger bomb by the Express. BTE trigger to Quen ends it, so it'll be the Express vs. the Bucks at All Out.
Ross tells us that Hager has his own camera crew and we see him tell Orange to be ringside for his match tonight. Tully, Cash, and Dax are backstage with Tully running down their goal - the tag titles. Cash says it's the biggest match of their careers and their legacy means nothing unless they win. Dax says a win is a seven figure difference in their income. Kenny is out in orange shorts and a white Hana Kimura shirt looking like The Creamsicle. FTR comes out with the offering of a cooler with chocolate milk for him.
He calls them dickheads and they censor everything after "dick" - so that did a lot. He sees that he's walking into a 2 on 1 beating, but doesn't want it to be 3 on 1 because he can smell his Depends from here. Dax says that he's known Page his whole career and he's always been insecure. They didn't have to do anything - Kenny didn't know he was so egotistical. Dax says he's a piece of shit and they censor everything after "shit".
Jericho and a tremendous jacket talk about making Orange Cassidy a main event star - but he ain't at the level of Le Champion. He's got OC at All Out, and he'll take out Joey Janela tonight in front of OC himself. Things are going to get a lot worse for the Bad Boy, tonight. Jericho takes his jacket off to reveal a white OC tanktop - so he's now in the "wear a shirt" phase of his career. Jericho clubs away slowly in the corner and then clubs slowly mid-ring. Jericho's working this like he's in the Nashville Fairgrounds in front of 50 people working for a hot dog and a Coke. Codebreaker and punches lead to a corner charge into a cover-less buckle. He rubs Joey's blood on the OC shirt and then they brawl. Sonny comes out and lays out Jericho while Ross calls Janela "Jannetty, whoops wrong Marty". OC pulls out bubbly and pops it for a thumbs down.
Sammy-Matt Hardy recap video airs to set up the Broken Rules match with Hardy's AEW career on the line. Team Taz is out. Taz in shorts and an athletic jacket looks a lot better than Taz looking like a fridge in a suit. Taz talks shit about Lance and Jake and Jake says those boys are just two boys trying to get a nut - but you won't bust a nut in the ring with them. Then Kingston is out with his boys and tells Jake to keep it quick because they're live and Lance is tough, but he ain't tougher than him. Tully is out with Spears and we get more rambling with Taz saying his boys will fight all of their boys now. THAT'S BILLY OF THE GUNN CLUB, NOT BILLY GUNN, EXCALIBUR!
Lots of brawling and then PNP is out with Hager and the Best Friends. More brawling and chaos and we get a Brodie Lee recap video. Dustin swears vengeance for Cody at All Out. Thunder Rosa's out looking like a star to face Serena Deeb. Ex talks about Rosa beating Allysin Kay to win the title. Serena ties her into a tequila sunrise, but slams the knee into the mat. Corner basement dropkick hits for Rosa and she chokes her on the rope. Deeb gets a back cracker. Thunder Rosa doing Miz's corner lariat is something else, nice Hardyiac arrest-variant on the shotgun knees. Inverted Angle slam leads to a cradle attempt for Serena, but a death valley bomb hits high and tight and they exchange weird cradles for 2. Busaiku knee hits for Rosa and the Thunder Driver ends it. This was the best AEW women's match since Riho.
