Last night, CMLL had an AEW crossover show with a match of the year candidate between Bandido and Mascara Dorada - so this show has quite the standard to live up to. Hangman is out and yeah, this crowd is molten! Hanger says that he apologizes for his Spanish because it's not the best an he cuts a WHOLE-ASS PROMO IN SPANISH. 14-man tag is up and Cash isn't there, but BIG STOKE IS. Hechicero does cool shit with Bandido and Cole is over huge.
Brody and Archer forearm each other a ton and Brody hits a RUNNING RANA ON HECHICERO! Atlantis cradles Dax AND WINS AND ATLANTIS JR STILL GETS BOOED! Briscoe vs. Okada is up and Mark CHOMPS ON THE FINGER during a bird flip and hits an exploder! FROGGY BOW! Don makes this so much better with his commentary. Tombstone and the rainmaker wins it. MJF vs. Mistico is up and Mistico is UNGODLY OVER! He also has a far better theme than he's been using as Mistico again.
Springboard atomico after a crossbody! Wonky moonsault evasion and a powerslam gets 2 for Mistico. Ballshot finish ends it. Faces save when MJF takes Mistico's mask off. Seems to set up an ALL IN match nicely. 4 Million Peso match is up and Ricochet works over Hologram and they talk about his humble origins wrestling BEHIND A CAR DEALERSHIP! Mercedes vs. Zeuxisis up and Mercedes wins after a powerslam off the top reversal. Main event tag time and SHIBATA AND JOE ARE IN ARENA MEXICO and Joe is marching on the steps! Mortos vs. Joe briefly showed me we need more of that and Mox cheats to beat Swerve and HANGMAN KINDA SAVES SWERVE! Awesome but very tiring show.
