WWE Raw 6-9-25 - Gunther vs.Jey and Nikki Bella Returns

Raw is in some ways more loaded than the PPV was and it also has RON THE TRUTH KILLINGS! Cena bitches about the fans and does his usual whiny promo and Punk says that Cena was chosen by the establishment and not the people, who chose him. He can't handle the TRUTH OR RON KILLINGS! Punk gets muted for a bit saying that he hates what he becomes with the belt but he HAS TO DO IT to take back WWE. Punk says that Cena can pick the date to face him - okay that's a cool way to avoid an issue with a Saudi show. Or not - as Cena says that it HAS to be at Night of Champions. King and Queen of the ring are set up and Raw has a mystery guy - which feels like Truth.

25 MINUTES IN and we find out Pat isn't here and Wade is. AJ vs. Gable is up and AJ goes down to an armdrag and a break. A long ankle lock is on but AJ gets a wonky Styles clash with a hitch to it to win it. Roxy and Liv bicker a bit and Liv is out for the 4 way qualifier with Rhea and Kairi and Roxanne. Roxy and Liv do a codebreaker/Russian legsweep and Rhea catches Kairi off a double team to the floor. Roxanne steals a pin on Kairi after Rhea and Raquel brawl. WWE hypes up Worlds Collide as the biggest Youtube show they've ever done - good, shows this ownership is paying off already.

Nikki chats with Nattie and Maxxine and meets IYO! Becky calls out Lyra and demands an apology but BAYLEY JUMPS BECKY! Penta vs Dom vs Sami vs. Bron is up and has SOME SUPLEXIN! Sami beats Dom and maybe Sami wins KOTR. ASUKA IS BACK next week for QOTR. NIKKI's out and gets insulted and laid out by Liv. World title time and Jey gets an RNC quickly before an escape and knees to the back. Guther gets chops, a spear and2 but eats a spear and Uso splash! RNC IS ON BY GUNTHER! Gunther is locked into one too! GUNTHER LOCKS ON THE RNC AGAIN AND HE WINS IT BY JEY PASSING OUT!

So it looks like Goldberg vs. Gunther for the modern-day Big Gold and you have the hype of HEY STING WON HIS RETIREMENT MATCH and Goldberg did a ton of jobs in his last title matches so MAYBE...There's hope there. Good stuff, iffy show overall.
