Rampage is a loaded show, with Christian vs. Omega for the Impact World title as the opener alongside Britt Baker vs. Red Velvet for the AEW Women's Title and Miro will massacre Fuego Del Sol as well. Christian's out and we see a Panzer Dragoon Saga> FF 7 sign before Omega's out with a nice emphasis on the Impact/TNA belts. Cage one-ups him a bit with a snap killswitch attempt, but Omega bails.
Christian cuts a great promo with Mark Henry backstage and says that he won this one and it was hard - but he's in Kenny's head. Fuego Del Sol gets a hype video before the Miro match and he cuts a great promo about belonging here. "God's Favorite Champion" is going to be baptized by fire!" Fuego's out and Miro is out and EATS A TORNADO DDT. He's rocked and the ref asks if he can go on and he can. A SECOND TORNADO DDT HITS AND SENDS HIM OUT. Fuego will still get a contract - but not the title! THREE TORNADO DDTS GET 2.9!
Miro tears up the contract and beats him with the Samoan drop, kick and Game Over. Sammy and TK are out and Sammy says that he's 1-50 BUT THE FANS LOVE HIM and the boys do too. He gets his deal is is beyond over. Britt chats with Velvet and says she's #andstill it tonight with a broken frickin' wrist!
Red Velvet is out to boos in Brittsburgh. Velvet does some stuff to the wrist a bit. Velvet gets some corner punches to the stomach and then works the wrist more. Velvet almost gets Lockjawed, but rolls through and removes the glove. Moonsault by Velvet hits for 2 and gets a giant DMD! chant. Curb stomp gets 2 for Britt! Velvet goes for the Lockjaw, but Britt rolls through and slams the wrist down - so Britt rolls the other way and uses the bad arm as a brace to use the good arm to get the tap! That was great - the match was not. Britt beats her up before Kris attacks and then Jamie Hayter returns for Britt! This was the weakest of the three matches, but help raise Britt's stock - so that doesn't matter in the long run.
