It's a loaded show tonight with Moxley vs. Minoru Suzuki on tap for the first time ever in North America. Ruby and Danielson are already in the show intro and we get an All Out recap showing the finishes of most major matches. Malakai Black vs. Dustin Rhodes start the show off and Ex is off tonight so he can get hitched soon. Teep kick by Black leads to Dustin getting shoved into the rope and landing a lariat. GERMAN OUT OF THE CORNER BY DUSTIN! Atomic throw sends Dustin through a table at ringside. Ross points out that the 33 year vet only having 10 seconds to get in hurts him. Heel hook by Black!
Dustin gets the rope and Black kicks the leg out with a round kick. Black walks around him and with his hands on his hips, just cockily boots him down. Dustin goes for the powerslam, but Black didn't run in and then he does it again for 2. Black brings Cody's boot in and this pissed Dustin off. A series of uppercuts AND THE DESTROYER get 2.9! Black legsweeps his head into the exposed buckle and the Black mass ends it without landing flush that Taz covers up blaming the buckle shot. Lucha Bros.-Bucks vid airs showing off Penta's blood-stained belt.
Kingston says that God has no favorites and rains on the just and unjust while Miro says that he had to ice his balls down and he'll offer Kingston's bones to his bride and his life to his God. Punk's out and over AF. Punk says that he loves the fans and he loves their "you've still got it" and responds to that with "and what WE'VE GOT IS MINORU SUZUKI!" He shows love to Linda Pillman and he asks the fans what's next for him. Taz demands a mic and Punk says out of respect, he'll let him speak - BUT DON'T INTERRUPT ME AGAIN! Taz says he's tired of his bullshit lovefest - but he just had ONE MATCH, but don't bring up Team Taz EVER. Punk says you can send Hook, Starks, or Hobbs and then does the "beat me if you can, survive if I let you" bit. Dante Martin faces Hobbs next.
PNP talk about taking out FTR and wanting those belts. Tony and Ruby chat and Ruby says she helped Britt break in and she knows why she calls herself so many nicknames. She calls herself all that so they can avoid seeing what she isn't and Britt says that should she be The Runaway to catering. Ruby tells Tony that she knows Britt's his girl - BUT SHE'S GONNA WHIP HER ASS! Dante shotgun dropkicks Hobbs to the floor. Hobbs gets an elevated bearhug and he does that better than anyone since Brock. Pump kick sends Hobbs out and Hook prevents a swanton until HE JUMPS OVER Hook. Martin hits a run-up pump kick, but a MASSIVE powerbomb hits for the win. Martin got over huge in defeat.
Dan Lambert congratulates AEW for getting Punk, Danielson, Cole, and Soho - but they just distract from the TWO REAL MEN - the Men of the Year before burying the fans singing "Judas". Matt Hardy wants to cut OC's hair and OC says "whatever". MJF is up next and he says that he beat Jericho THREE TIMES and a fourth, clean in the middle! He says that he doesn't expect them to understand him because they're from shitcinatti. He buries the local sports teams and then buries Linda before burying Brian's daughter, who is pregnant. Brian Jr. comes out in a Bengals jersey.
He says that Cincinatti breeds badasses like Brian Pillman and Jon Moxley and he's from the streets - WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE! MJF calls Melanie Methanie before saying that Melanie should've done to Pillman what she did with all the other prospects and swallowed. Brian Jr. slugs him and buries Wardlow too before Wardlow defends MJF by attacking Pillman - but not after having a moment of doubt there when he could just turn and attack MJF. So they're slowly turning him and that turn is going to be great. Griff comes out and gets beaten up by Wardlow and MJF's ring.
Hayter's out to face Soho! Fantastic headlock and armwork to start before Hayter blocks a Saito suplex. Hayer gets KOed during the break and avoids a victory roll with a Kidmakaze before getting the Soho-KO kick for the win. The heels take out Soho before Riho comes out and eats an Irish curse. Curb stomp on the belt is avoided thanks to Kris. Ruby looked out of it after the match so that was just a disaster all-around - got both of them under. Cage and Starks have a rematch next week.
The Pinnacle is out to face Dark Order before we get a skit with Anna Jay telling them to get their shit together. Johnny runs wild on Spears AND WE GET A DOUBLE-BICEP! Dax runs wild with elbows and a legdrop and a falling headbutt for 2. SLINGSHOT SUPLEX BY DAX! Double flapjack into the C4 ends it. This was a fantastic way to set up this unit as a force in the trios division. MORE DARK ORDER BRAWLING with Uno being the odd man out with Grayson. Anna and Tay come out and we get a recap of the casino battle royal. Tully buries Sting and Darby and says that he's a leader and he wants Spears vs. Darby Allin and he'll face off with Sting one more time.
The Elite are out and Don's ready for Vice City with his powder blue suit. Cole comes out and he's over huge as a babyface - so he immediately buries Tony for his friendship with Britt and calls him a nerd and old and slow. Cole says that AEW is elite and he's new to AEW, but he's been elite for a long time and you'll see it next week in the ring. Omega says he loves them all BUT THEY WERE INTERRUPTED AT ALL OUT! Danielson comes out!
Bryan asks if folks want to see him face Kenny Omega. Bryan says that Kenny is afraid and he knows that Kenny isn't on his level and he'll kick his head in. LEBELL LOCK BY BRYAN but the Elite attacks. JURASSIC EXPRESS SAVES and Jungle Boy takes out Cole before Kaz hits him too! Cutler tries to ward everyone off with the cold spray but eats a busaiki knee! They run through Rampage and Dynamite's lineup before Malakai vs. Cody II is announced for Arthur Ashe Stadium. Suzuki gets a truncated intro - but his lower-thirds graphic showcases his WON Hall of Famer status. It's Moxley's homecoming - and he gets his full intro.
Forearm shots back and forth before a BREAK!? They come back to chops and biting! Sleeper into the Gotch, but Mox backdrops him. Death Rider! Mox slices up Suzuki's right eye and he eats a big dropkick! Elevated death rider hits and it's more of a Bloody Sunday but it wins. This was...good, but worse and less exciting than the brawl at All Out. Mox roams around for a bit. Okay, they need an overrun.
