AEW Dynamite 10-9-19

Tonight's card is run down after pyro and man is it amazing to see A CARD RUN DOWN TO START A WRESTLING SHOW. Bucks vs. Private Party is hyped up with a video package and the Bucks are out to a huge ovation. Excalibur saying that Private Party reminds him of the Bucks from 10 years ago is both a great thing and bad as it makes them seem older than they should be. Private Party's whole presentation is great. MASSIVE chant for Private Party, who I would have win here - Bucks don't need it.

Nick spits gum in Isiah's face, but lands a hang-up neckbreaker. Gutbuster/neckbreaker combo by the Bucks. Quen gets tagged in and lands a springboard crossbody. Deadman Dive kinda hits before a tope con hilo. 450 GETS 2.99999! Mother of fuck was Quen just made a star there. SUNSET RUNNING POWERBOMB BY MATT ON THE RAMP! Goddamn!

Powerbomb/neckbreaker combo hits and leads to a sharpshooter. JR calls the Bucks the modern-day RNR Express and tells the kids to Google. Um, the RNR Express is literally a bigger deal now than they've been for 25 years. Spear to Quen from Mat gets 2. Isiah lands a double rana. Silly String is blocked by the revolving door northern lights and then a double northern lights gets 2 for Nick. Another sharpshooter, but Kassidy gets to the rope!  POISON RANA TO MATT! GIN AND JUICE HITS AND THEN THE SSP GETS 2.9!!! Metlzer driver is countered with a victory roll and Private Party wins it! PERFECT!

THE CELEBRATION IS STILL GOING ON AFTER THE AD BREAK. By God, a match result mattered! Jericho, Hager, Sammy, and PNP are out. Hager looks like he would angrily tell people to be quiet at a golf course. He puts over Sammy as being incredible and gorgeous for the ladies - he's on MY LIST. PNP made the list and he gives Eddie a shoutout. Hager gets a we the people chant and Jericho says that was a bad idea from bad creative and it's dead and buried. Jericho says that they're the Inner Circle and he hates Cody and his family. He didn't like Dusty, Dustin, and at Full Gear, he'll beat the everloving shit out of him. After Full Gear, he'll have a little bit of the bubbly and you're welcome! Jericho is so fantastic. Excalibur puts over new shirts for the group.

A wacky commercial airs that makes me think Fozzy has a new opening act. Jimmy Havoc cuts a wacky edgelord promo about Darby Allin feeling his pain. Havoc's been around for 15 years so it is fitting that he has a 2002 emo gimmick. Allin gets a quick 2 off a la majistral cradle. Tony talks about the half-paint being a sign that Allin feels half of him is dead. Allin eats a nasty suplex to the floor. Havoc being a balding edgelord is tremendous. JR and Tony are putting Allin over very much like they did Foley in WCW in his first run there - interesting. Rolling elbow gets 2 for Havoc. Corner DVD hits for Havoc and gets another 2. Tiger Driver hits and the audio goes out. Top Stun hits for Darby, who goes up and a coffin drop ends it. Jericho vs. Allin could be another star-making match. JR wisely says that hey, the Bucks lost earlier and they were the favorites - that could just as easily happen next week.

Bea Priestley's out with a tremendous tron with Sakura AND WIN/LOSS GRAPHICS! Britt Baker's out with Riho. and the title looks good on her. Riho takes Sakura down with a dropkick. Double suplex to Britt on the floor. Dive off the top to the heels from Riho. Draping DDT from Britt to Bea gets 2. Butterfly backbreaker hits Britt. Britt gets a cutter and eats chops and then Britt hits the Credenza for 2. So a stunner is a transitional move, but MATT STRIKER'S STUPID FINISH is her setup to the wacky Rings of Saturn?

Bea and Britt brawl. The Best Friends are itnerviewed about hte tourney and show off Orange Cassidy. They tease Dark Order, but it's Spears. They teased the Dark Order, but delivered Shawn Spears - now that's how you make him seem great, by comparison to something completely devoid of good. Tully is back on Turner! PAC is on commentary. Roberts brings back his JYOOOHNNNNN....Cena intro for Moxley.

Corner chop exchanges hit before a PK to Spears. Tully tries to distract Mox, but Mox is too smart and doesn't get trapped and still beats up Spears. Tully sends Mox into the steps. PAC says that in this day and age, there's no one who has only been beaten once in two years. Mox eats a DVD into the barricade. Sky High gets 2 for Spears. Spears gets a tope, but eats a slew of violence in the corner. Regal knee hits for 2.5. Pac says that him not being in a title match is goddamn disgrace and Spears gets the tye breaker for 2. The revolving door variant is met with a counter and a drilling Paradigm Shift ends it.

Omega is out with a barb wire bat and a barb wire broom. Omega tosses him the bat and he keeps the broom. Pac attacks Omega with a chair Nice character stuff with Omega and Mox there - they now have a common enemy and have a setup for a future tag match. This is the best non-Goldust look that Dustin has had ever. He still likes a big star. Page is a good partner for him as Page can learn a lot from him.

 Sammy Guevera's out before Jericho, with Hager as his backup. Jericho working in an Inner Circle shirt is so great. Dustin hockey fights him before Sammy comes back in. CORNER CAM LARIAT from Page! Bridging fallaway slam gets 2 for Page. Dustin and Page work shockingly great together - have them in the tag title mix before pulling the trigger on Page as a top guy and then redo Mr. Wrestling II and Magnum TA with them.

Revolving door discus lariat by Page leads to a shooting star sell by Sammy and a huge pop. Goddamn that ruled! Hot tag to Dustin and he lands punches and lariats before a blind dive on both of them. PAGE HITS A MOONSAULT OFF THE TOP AND LANDS ON HIS FEET-ish. Hager attacks him. Judas Effect hits and Dustin tastes defeat for the first time in AEW.

They beat up Dustin and Page eats a lariat and then just slings a chair at Hager's head. Sammy and Jerihco beat up Dustin and we get a blackout for Cody. Cross Rhodes to Sammy leads to Jericho and Cody staring down. PNP jumps Cody. MJF shows up  and teases a chair to Cody, but hits the Inner Circle. Codebreaker to MJF, and he sells it perfectly. Dustin eats more chairshots before the Bucks down down for a superkick party and double dive to PNP. Darby attacks Jericho with a skateboard flying knee and mounted punches before hitting him with the board. Jericho calls them all stupid diots and the Inner Circle is taking over.
