NWA Powerr starts off with a hype video showcasing week one and talking about the headlines its made in a week. A recap airs of Aldis vs. Storm furthering the Aldis-Kamille breakup. Joe and Jim are ringside talking about Tim Storm's loss being heartbreaking. Aron Stevens chats with David Marquez and talks about leaving wrestling to achieve a lot of success in theater, TV, and movies. He asks everyone to avoid eye contact with him and he would like silence and like in Hollywood, you have stars and supporting cast - and we all know what he is.
Trevor Murdoc returns to face Ricky Starks. Cornette talks about Murdoch loving to land a punch, not take one, and drink some beer. Mudoch eats a crucifix and loses. Fun match, they played up Murdoch as the veteran, but it didn't get the job done here. Murdoch's chest is all beat the hell up and he says he wasn't good enough tonight and that's all right. Starks says that the platform is in place for him now to succeed.
Joe Galli does a breaking news segment about the Aldis-Kamille deal and he says that people have to ask hard questions and he's asked for time with Aldis and Kamille. Colt Cabana comes out and yells about studio wrestling being exciting and he's going for any gold - maybe even the tag belts. AND HE'S GOT A PARTNER in MR. ANDERSON! Anderson with the dyed hair looks fantastic again. They'll face Sal Rinaurio and Jordan Kingsley. Anderson lands the rolling rock from one to the other and the flying apple leads to a mic check and a win.
Aldis is stopped on the street and says this isn't TMZ, it's the NWA and he didn't mean anything with Kamille. A TREMENDOUS Tony Falk's Waffles and Tire Irons ad airs. Their tire irons are painted gold and the waffles use only the best organic and gluten-free ingredients - as you should expect from a place that sells waffles AND tire irons.
Eddie Kingston's fantastic promo last week is shown. King and Homicide are backstage and say that the Wild Cards being tag champs is nice but it ain't nothing til they beat the King and the GOD of NYC. Allysin Kay vs. Ashley Vox is up in a non-title match. Corny talks about this being a great chance for Vox because she's got nothing to lose here. Teep kick by Kay leads to a corner chop. Big wheelbarrow suplex by Kay gets 2.5. Kay hits a Dudebuster and wins it.
Kay says it's just the beginning and she tells Ashley she did good - just not good enough. James Storm says that with Tim Storm out of the World Title mix, now he's in the mix. Eli interrupts him and says that he wants to be in the title picture too and Storm is a champion and that alone means he's a big deal - he's next in line to the World title. Austin Idol ad leads to the Wild Cards vs. Kingston and Homicide.
Dawsons attack the faces after they dominate the champs for a bit. Nick and Kamille have a sit-down interview and Aldis talks about this being a return to form for the NWA and as champion, he has a say in things. Tim Storm did what he could and he gave a good effort. He's asked if he needs Kamille and Aldis says that it's a wrestling show - not 60 Minutes. Aldis says that at All In, he lost to an inferior wrestler due to interference. Aldis brought Kamille in to even the odds and he wants him to name when Kamille has helped him retain - and nothing comes to mind. Aldis says that when she thought about getting involved, he stopped her - and blames her for that. Kamille feigns that the mic doesn't work
