The issues between Kamille and Aldis take over the beginning video with the interviewer saying that this week, he will only ask about the title match for Aldis. Kingston rushes the studio and runs through being beaten up by the Dawsons. Kingston wants them now and tells Jim to not steal his heat - but he loves him! Kingston wants it anywhere at any time and all he and Homicide have to live for is wrestling. Marti Belle faces Crystal Rose and God bless both of them, but Marti isn't all that great and Rose is a bit sloppy. Not much to this until Belle wins with a Pedigree that Cornette calls a Pearl River Plunge. Cornette says the Dawsons are coming after this match.
The Dawsons say that they should tear the place apart. A Thunder Rosa video hypes her up and makes her look good. Aron Stevens is out like a pirate and reminds everyone that the no eye contact rule is in effect. Stevens tells him to read his job description and he says that he's dressed like this and says that HE IS NOT CAPTAIN MORGAN, he is here to promote something and then gets a giant Captain Morgan chant. He is here to promote Tropical Pirates on Blu-Ray, DVD, and in Romania, VHS. THEN WE GET A CLIP OF IT and oh my God it looks so much better than the Raw skit at the restaurant. He says that when it comes to acting, he has more chops than Ric Flair.
Tim Storm's loss to Aldis is shown before Caleb Konley faces Dan Parker. Konley wins with an atomic whip into a BME. Tim Storm thanks Aldis for giving him the shot at the title - which he didn't have to do. He thanks Nick for changing his life with their matches and Eli comes down and says he sounds like he's ready to quit. Eli says he doesn't get it because everyone's loving Mama Storm and she's probably more worried about him giving up. He is on THE LIST of NWA World Champions and that maybe the World title isn't in his future - but maybe they can go after the tag titles because he's made that match against the Dawsons.
An Invisible Hair Cream ad airs and is just goofy for the sake of goofy. Josephus comes out and Cornette says that James Storm would rather have his balls stapled to a stool instead of shaking Josephus' hands. Colt comes out and is a goof, so they brawl and James Storm superkicks Josephus. Aldis comes out and says that Tim Storm is in the rear view mirror and now there's a horserace over who wrestles him for the title. Aldis agrees with the fans about James and Eli being worthy but doesn't agree on Josephus. Joe says he doesn't mean to be disrespectful, but he needs to ask the question about Kamille. Aldis says that it's funny how if someone prefaces a question like that, it's always disrespectful. Aldis gives him the chance to speak and Kamille says nothing - perfect. They're building this up wonderfully. A SINGLE WORD will mean something.
The Dawsons beat Tim Storm and Eli with the Viking Experience on Tim before he eats another beating. Kingston and Homicide come back and brawl before Aldis returns to check on Tim Storm. So you've got Nick Aldis who, by character, is a heel and works heel - but as a person and competitor, cares about Tim Storm - the man who took him to his limit. This is just simple character work, it takes very little time, and it makes it so easy to want to see what happens next.
