A great Stone Cold promo hits five minutes before the show hyping it up - dude needs to just do this forever. Vince and Steph come out and welcome us to SD on Fox with a new intro. The new set is unreal - especially for a regular TV show. Becky comes out and says SD is like home before King Corbin comes out. AND THEN THE ROCK'S OUT BEING THE ROCK!
Rock calls Corbin a broke-ass burker King on crack. Rock calls him a virgin from Comic Con and Rock says he needs balls and Becky says that hers are bigger than Corbin's. Corbin says no no no, his testicles are perfectly adequate. Becky calls him a Super Tough Dude and Rock asks for an STD chant and gets it.
Rock runs wild with punches, the elbow and a Rock Bottom. Wacky CGI crap from the big PPVs is here. Sasha and Bayley are out to face Becky and Charlotte and boy is it sloppy. This is just devoid of good in all ways. Charlotte hits a terrible moonsault onto the heels off the top. Charlotte beats Bayley with the figure 8 - so yeah, Bayley looks great!
Erin Andrews interviews Kofi about his title match tonight. Tyson Fury is shown. Seth needs more of the flame-filled BURN IT DOWN graphics and less of the goofy static - he actually looked like a star with all that fire. FIFREFLY FUNHOUSE. Ramblin' Rabbit vs. Mercy the Buzzard is more exciting than anything on the PPV.
Nakamura's out to face Seth and Sami's bopping along to his theme. Nakamura eats the dives and a slingblade. Springboard knee and a kneeling superkick hit for Seth before THE FIEND turns the lights off. Bray gets the mandible claw and sends him off the stage, which couldn't be seen due to the lighting - so that was a waste of a bump. YES! A LONG KO VS. SHANE FEUD RECAP!
KO gets a jobber intro. Shane O elbow hits. KO eats the coast to coast, but the powerbomb off the ladder through the ladder in the corner ends it and KO wins. He tells him he's fired and hits a stunner. Miz, Braun and Heavy Machinery face the OC, Orton, Roode and Dolph in a match maybe the people involve care about. Braun hobble-tackles guys before squaring up with Fury. Braun wins and then Fury jumps the rain. Maybe we'll get Fury vs. Braun at Saudi-Mania.
Bryan's out on commentary for Roman vs. Rowan. Roman does the big dive, takes out lumberjacks. Wins. Whatever. Brock vs. Kofi ends quickly with an F5 ending it in one move. Well that sure made Kofi out to be a jobber. Cain comes down with Rey and double-legs him. Welp, Cain's in WWE and yeah, he's a huge deal day one. Incredible.
